My first was probably DBZ or just Dragon Ball can't remember.
I lost interest because the episodes I saw were just them powering up and talking instead of shooting stuff from their hands.
All I wanted back then, simple pleasures  :)
Oh, and to watch the transformation scenes in Sailor Moon.

Hard to say which anime I have seen as first one. I remember three of them from my childhood: Sailor Moon, DragonBall [no surprise I think] and my fav one: Saint Seya <3.

However, the anime I started seriously watching as a teen, was Shaman King on Polish channel for kids Jetix :). I must admit I always loved anime, but sometimes had to watch it hidden with my lappy somewhere, 'cause my dad used to call anime 'these stupid Chinese [yes, Chinese~! o.O] cartoons' xD.

Back in the 80's the Disney Chanel shod a couple of movies from the Adventurers of Unico. I was hooked ever seance. But at that time i didn't know what it was. Calling Japanese cartoons Anime was not that popular in the U.S. in tel the 90's.
