Yeah, I really don't get how this is any different from extreme sports fans or anything else.  People will always be in-your-face about something, I just ignore those people if it starts to annoy me.  The haters are just looking for an anger outlet.

Why does Derpy Hooves have no <3?

Unrelated:

Fluttershy is epic.
This thing seemed dead inside. It seemed like an automaton, trying to act like as if it was alive. The effect was unsettling.
Orianna made a sound that supposed to a girl's squeal of glee and hugged The Ball. While it might have been touching, it was unfortunately only horrifying.

Derpy might get more <3 from me if she was more than just a gimmick.  She is loveably clumsy though, to Twilight's chagrin.  Fluttershy is second best pony, falling only slightly behind Rainbow Dash.

I feel so disconnected... some how I managed to avoid everything of MLP: FiM, until I saw this topic about a month ago. That was the first time I even learned that there was a remake of MLP, anyway, not being really into kids shows or 'girlier' things, I didn't watch it...... Until a male, forty year old, married man with several kids told that it was awesome. He is the type of Brony I respect; not denying he liked the show but not yelling in your face if you say you don't. That is when I watched the first episode and was completely hooked. Thirty MLP episodes and the accidental creation of a pegasista from my own sister latter, I decided to final give my answer to the pole that caught my eye so long ago... (okay, more like less than a month XD)

1: Rarity (She needs more love!)
2: Big Macintosh (Eeeyup.)
3: Princess Luna (Luna eclipsed made me so excited, probably my favorite episode!)
4: Flutter Shy (Impossible not to love her.)
and last but not least,
5: Twilight Sparkle (My sister says we are exactly alike.)

Glad to see so many people joining the herd!

Ive decided that luna is now 3 ponies, Luna, Nightmare moon an wuna (the adorable thing he was to fan before she appeared in Luna eclipsed) Im adding wuna to the poll (and would vote for her if i could change my vote)

also the since i couldnt edit on that forum the stepmania songs thread has been moved to http://everfreeforest.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=384

And derpy is quite popular, stacks of people (especially more hardcore fans) like her,  at least she has 4 votes here, Lyra (currently my #2) has 0  :'(

Sums up my perspective on the show, and I totally agree.  Though I'm not about to go broadcasting my interest to people like my dad, who I'm 100% sure would just laugh in my face - and while I wouldn't mind being laughed at, I'm not gonna seek it out.

I actually took the official MLP site's personality quiz before I ever saw the show, and it labeled me as Rainbow Dash, and since loyalty is one of the things I value most, I can kinda see it... but I have more quirks in common with TS myself too.  I'm super-organized (though you might not guess it if you saw my desk), a bit of a fact hound, and I used to be a little paranoid about "bad marks" from teachers and professors.  I am definitely the bookish type, not athletic.

lulz. :3 I've been told the same.
Yay! There seem to be a lot Twilight Sparkles :3
Heehee, my sister though, she is totally Pinkie Pie. She is as energetic as a squirrel and won't understand why I'm not keeping up after walking 6 miles. She'll also be in a room in plain sight and no one will notice she's there, causing many heart attacks on my end.  :))

I am saddened, as there seem to be only two planned episodes left in season two.  Any word on whether the show's been picked up for a third season?

nerd1, necro thread is necro.

Jocko, if you watched the first episode, you should know that the third one is where the really good stuff starts.  First two-parter is a bit cheesier, since it's trying to tell some kind of epic "save the world" story.  At least the similar episode they did in season two had John DeLancie.
