My Experience with Dexter

So, about a month or so ago my friend told me that they had the whole first season of Dexter onDemand. I was wicked excited to see this show because it just looked so bloody awesome (<--pun right there). Over this time I've watch through four seasons and I'm on Season 5 Episode 3. I can't get enough of Dexter and I was wondering if anyone loves it as much as I do.

I saw a couple episodes and I didn't like it. The sappiest psychopath I have ever seen. It's like "Man I have no feeling except I only kill bad guys and I love my girlfriend and also my parents".

I only see it in bits and pieces because generally I watched television over my shoulder from another room while I played online.

The point is he has been "trained" by his father to control his mental illness and direct it. The series is very much like death note (which from what I've seen of dexter, I prefer death note). The main character acts as a force for good even though he is evil, and he knows it. People are trying to track him down, and its a whole game of can the protagonist wiggle out of this situaton with his brain or not.

Everytime when I hear dexter, I imagine a cartoon network dexter cartoon. That was awesome:)

One of my top five shows to watch and look forward to. The fact that he's a serial killer isn't the thing that attracts me, it's how he gets away with it, and with the beginning of season seven, that's no longer the case

now the 7th season is over and we're waiting for the final season..... I can't think of a scenario where Dexter doesn't die

Though this series does have some cheesy aspects, i have to say i really like it. Ive seen all that are out. Cant wait for next season....

I watched a couple of episodes of season 1 because it had such a high voting on IMDB. Some episodes were nice, but I didn't like it that much. It's certainly a good show that brings some originality, but it was somehow not my genre..
