I'm not a huge mecha fan, actually. Zoids was awesome but rather different from the Gundams style. But Neon Genesis Evangelion is my favorite, hands down. I love that anime.
Yepyep NGE was a great anime. I got into Gundam after watching that xD

Have you seen any Horror animes that you've liked?
horror?
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Hands down the best comedy/horror/mystery anime ever

Hmm, I can't say I've seen any Horror. I did start to watch this one called Cosette. I don't remember much from it but it was interesting. My tastes are a bit more on the girly and/or harem side XP But for the most part, i like something from everything, at least a bit. Comedy is what I think I like the best though. Then drama/thriller/suspense comes next.

Yeah I've seen the first few episodes and I really liked it. (Didn't really get around to watch the rest).
Elfen Lied and Gantz were also pretty good animes in the Horror genre.
Gantz told a bit too much about human nature though X.x

Thrillers are good too. I like the chill you get down your spine at the turning point of the anime d:

A bunch of friends and I have been watching through Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and it is amazing.  I love anything that can send chills down my spine and FMA does it consistently.

Just got done watching gurren lagann, and the gurren lagann movie for like the 9,000th time. It honestly never gets old. O.o
Also last weekend at Anime Spark I showed two friends the movie. I said it was more epic than the anime, they thought that the cake was a lie. Half way through the second movie I could tell they knew I was right.

I watched a good portion of FMA on Adult Swim, but I didn't get to catch any of FMA: Brotherhood and was wondering if it differs any from the original series. Either way I'm gonna eventually look into getting the series to watch it, but was just something I was wondering to do a little research before I actually put into downloading or buying it.

FMA: Brotherhood follows the manga storyline whereas FMA followed the story line halfway and then diverted onto a very separate course.
