1) Arata Kantagari
How are you liking the anime so far? And have you read the manga?
Ya, i love it, tho i don't understand how he's going to return when the person that exchanged with him is so old and died. And funny thing is that the one that bullied him turn out to be his enemy again. Both holding hyagami of different extremes
Wait, I'm confused. The other Arata (not Hinohara) isn't old or dead. Did the anime do something that wasn't in the manga?
Here's the list of currently airing anime I'm watching:
Chihayafuru 2
Technically a high school sports anime (they play karuta, have competitions, practice, etc.), but the characters are all so vivid and interact with each other really well. And Japanese poetry is so pretty! Actually, the entire show is really pretty, all done up in bright hues and amazing animation.
Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge
Starting out, I wasn't so sure about this one. It's about a guy who's...obsessed with cutting people's hair? Then he meets a girl who's cursed hair can't be cut? What kind of absurd/stupid comedy is this going to turn into? Except, of course, it's not a comedy at all, it's more of a mystery/horror. While it takes awhile to get over the initial premises, the latest episode, ep 8, was genuinely really good, and I'm disappointed that there'll only be 13 episodes and I'm not sure it'll be able to wrap anything up in the five episodes it has left.
Hataraku Maou-sama!
What happens when Satan arrives on Earth without any magical powers? He works at McDonalds of course! XD Not only is it great comedy, it also has amazingly poignant moments.
Hunter x Hunter (2011)
So exciting to be watching new material! Surprised at how much darker it keeps getting, and it seems like it's only going to get more depressing. I can't wait to watch more!
Kakumeiki Valvrave
This one is decent. Somewhat cliche mecha.
Karneval
The worst show of this season (out of the ones I'm watching). Super poor pacing, terrible character development. It has a couple nice action sequences, but it's mostly irritating and all over the place.
Shingeki no Kyojin
Such amazing insanity. It's like a war documentary, mythology, and personal narratives all rolled into one. And despite the setting, such realism! I expected it to be over the top in a ridiculous way, but it never hit that point. Instead, everything has moved along really fast and fit together really well.
Suisei no Gargantia
It's such an interesting cultural clash. I wish Valvrave had more of this. From continual language difficulties to strife between different ideologies, it's just so cool from a sociology point of view. While the "slice of life" stuff is the best part, it does also have an intriguing world mythology to it too.
