By now, I have a screenshot of me killing every false god but these 5:
Scorpio :death always poisons me to death, ignoring my shield, Hope.
And against Seism :earth , I never seem to summon Hope fast enough before I take tremendous damage, and if I DO, his Diamond Shield blocks out nearly all damage besides Light Dragon and I eventually deck out.
Graviton :gravity makes my Hope powerless with strong Firemasters and Momentum, and active CC, Fire Storm. Which wipes out all my RoLs :(
Rainbow :time, I won't even TRY at the moment...
My target for this week is Morte, the king of :death, according to Elementswiki.co.cc
I checked the False God Forum, but there are no posted tips on killing this opponent. I'm seeking a deck that can eliminate Morte. If rares are needed, so be it.
Tips and tricks are also greatly appreciated!!! ;D

Morte is quite easy with a traditional rainbow deck. Firestorm (Rain of Fire) is very good against the many small creatures that Morte summons, and Steal can be used on one of the many Graveyards he will undoubtedly play. Bonewall has tremendous synergy with Firestorm, and you can use Fallen Elf/Druid to mutate your skeletons into huge mutants with great abilities to further cripple him. The only thing to worry about after that is the poison. If you are building a deck to beat just Morte, then Purify is a great card. If you are wanting to tweak your deck to be good against more than just Morte, then I would suggest a single Feral Bond in addition to the standard 4-6 SoG. As for weapons, Pulverizer, Eternity, and Eagle's Eye are the best three. I suggest packing one Pulverizer and one Eternity. So this is the deck I suggest to take against Morte:

Obiviously, you can't kill these god because you're using RoL Hope Deck.
For Morte, with some SoGs and antimatter the dragons, you can keep alive easily. All you have to do is break through the bonewall and prevent miracle being played. There are many ways actually, such as lobo the RoLs and momentum your lava destroyer. Don't spwan creatures since there are plague and can enhance the bonewall.

Using hope deck, here's the tips
Skorpio = Use SoG. Medium for me with hope deck. Lobo Physalias and Ulith, also early puffer.
Seism = Seriously? You never beat him with hope deck? Seism is easy for hope deck. Deckout? Seism have rewinds. Easy win.
Graviton = Bait his firestorm, lobo the otyugh and unstoppable'd creatures. Can be hard.. Esp. when he pulled out the gravity shield.
Rainbow = Hard, But beatable...
Morte = Easy/Medium FG for a hope deck. Fill his board with skellies, Bait his plague.
But is actually if you wanna kill Morte with another deck, take shields that blocks 2 or more damage (anti-skellies) also purify.

Okay... I think Morte can be reallyb hard because of his plagues. Always keep one ray of light in your hand, in case he plagues.
For scorpio, follow Bluesky's advice.
Seism should be quite easy, put only one :aether tower down, when he earthquakes it, slowly put a few more.
Graviton is really hard with ROL hope, I generally just skip it.
Rainbow is a god that I never really found hard. He only has a lot of permanent control, and he has no mass creature control. You're just overestimating him? :P Remember to keep your lobotomizers in your hand though, could be nasty if he steals them.

the selling points of RoL/Hope are 1) speed 2) difficult FGs are easier and vice versa
this include Divine Glory, Seism, Rainbow and Dark Matter
morte is one of those easy to handle FG with a more traditional control rainbow but very difficult with RoL/Hope partly because it can bypass the shield while having mass creature control
i'd suggest using Archangels instead of dragons to at least gives you some counter for his plague but apart from that, theres not much you can do with RoL/Hope...just hope you get lucky with an early lobo, he wasted plague on the first wave of RoLs and didnt draw too many dragons

Wha? All you could do is heal the Archangels themselves, RoLs only have 1 HP. And the dragons are beefy enough to take on several plagues.
Here are my tips against Morte when using Fractal/Hope:
- Play the RoLs early and often. As Bluesky pointed out you want to make a bunch of Skeletons on his side. When your RoLs die off then Fractal his.
- Use Electrocutor on his RoLs and Condors. If he gets enough :light he will bring out Archangels.
- In mid-game if you've managed to keep the hard hitters to a minimum, just play 3 or 4 RoLs at a time (depending on whether you upgraded Hope or not). 4 Defense will block out Arsenic and the majority of creature damage.
- Play Dragons as soon as you can afford them. He doesn't have any instant kills and the dragons can stay out for several turns before dying.
- If he gets 2 Ivory Dragons out before you have Hope up, just quit to save time.
- In early-game if you have 10 poison counters more than your maximum healing (5 for each SoG) quit to save time.
I carry 2 SoGs and 1 Miracle in my deck and I would guess I'm around 17% or so against Morte. He is really one of the harder ones.

A lot depends on your sogs. I used 4 in mine, and both morte and scorpio were pretty easy. For low shard decks they're a lot harder though because of the poison damage.

Yes, Morte is also very beatable with RoL/Hope. I personally use the same strategy mentioned before, which is to play no more than three Rays to bait out Morte's Plagues, and then swarm when Morte's board is full of skeletons. I still play rather conservatively, holding back just enough Rays to recover from a mid-game Plague.

Well If you are interesting in changing decks, Morte and even Seism are not that bad.
From my testing, CCYB has its highest winning % versus Morte. A combination of aflatoxin, a quinted destroyer or two, a pulverizer, and fractaled spiders or angels will beat him like a read-headed stepchild.
