Hmm I was running this (the unupped version), but lost miserably - made a mistake which I shoudn't have done:



I had 3 aether + 4 fire pilars on board, 30 fire quanta. I had 15 cards left in hand, and already used my first shield. My hand consisted of:
2 fire bolts, 3 shields, 1 reflect shield. - I drew another fire bolt. So I had to discard something. I chose to discard my reflect shield.


That turned out to be a mistake: what would you do in such a case? Using the bolt would've been a waste, dropping a phase shield and hoping for some very fast towers?

If you have 2 bolt and 4 shield if you draw another bolt you just press space bar and hope to draw something else next turn.
If you have to discard something phase shield is the less catastophic but it still bad..

WellI was like "if I throw dim shields now, I'm going to have to be lucky not to get to the last 6 cards". But ye, guess I was unlucky with no pilars in start hand.

The dim shields go first.

Unless you're getting a shizzton of quanta, and think you can take her with 4-5 bolts. I recall taking down miracle with 4 bolts twice, and 5 bolts a few times, when I was overflowing with fire quanta early.

Well if he didn't have the shield up, I would launch a fire bolt. It's better to lower his health a little bit than to discard a fire bolt or a shield in my opinion.

In other news, I beat Miracle today and I got an improved miracle and improved blessing! Hooray!

I had a 3 PU + quanta + Overdrive opening hand. He played a 18/18 Dragon on turn 3. I then started topdecking Dim shields!

I find mono aether to be more reliable (and faster) than fire stall.

Wait for the last possible minute to start the chain. Parallel Universe a dragon. Silence when the yellow bar on his HP is bigger than the green.

Oh yeah.

Deck would have worked if I had waited too: this is just cooler though. The dimshield shown is the only one I had to use all game.
28 damage Pegasus's are beautiful. Shame I was too stupid to think to TU one of those...ah well, life goes on.

To beat the guys with miracle, silence is useful!

I'm very sad. My first False God battle and I did Oracle and saw Miracle. I spent about 400 electrum and tried the mono aether deck (14 towers, 6 dim shields, 4 silences, 6 parallel universes) and in the first 10 cards I got not a single dim shield and got trounced.... le sigh.

Got my revenge today, used the same deck after Oracle and beat her >:}
