EvaRia - Am i right in assuming that the good side doesnt play the evil? if so, you could have an evil member get pm's from the good guys for the wins and the evil pm a good guy. They then in turn send the winnings on to you and say who had an illegal deck or what ever you want them to tell you, just an idea. Or if you would like i will drop out of this event and help you by receiving pm's. If you have 2 people ding it you are less likely to have your inbox fill up as well.

They only meet in the final round - in baseball, the National League never plays the American League until the World Series.  So while I don't anticipate corruption, there would be an ulterior motive.

You have it backwards, Good side plays Evil side for the event. (This could change too, but for now that's the way I want the event to function).
As I said, I'll keep win confirmations the way they are for now, if it makes enough of an impact that it breaks the event, I will consider changing it.

i know they play the each other for the event but that is only in the end part of this event not during the first part?

My original intention was to make Evil face Good for the entire event, but it may be better to do it Johann's way, I'm not sure.

Alignments were made up to cut the time of the event, originally it was all 12 marks which would take too long.

Again, keeping things as it is unless it becomes clear it doesn't work.

Oh, then I misread the rules, I thought Good and Evil fought among themselves for the chance at the final battle.  That greatly changes the strategies I have in mind... I should probably also mention that Evil's marks are the only ones that will fuel both permanent control (save Shockwave) and permanent protection.  For Light, we will have to splash pillars to support either.

That only happens when one champion is decided before the other.

It would be pointless for the rest of that side to keep playing if there's no chance to win =P

In that case I'll put Good playing Good and Evil playing Evil, since by now most people have seen the rules the same way you do.

Well, that also evens the playing field a bit until the Final Battle, especially in light of the PC imbalance I mentioned.

Wait wait wait, are you changing the rules so that the 1st phase rules are GvG and EvE?  because I'm pretty sure those who read the origional version are going to be ready for GvE.
