Root Ranger 3- Onizuka 2

Game 1: Win

Fog shield decided to work its h4x for me, letting me get out LS'd dragons. Not much else to say, besides that I had hoped for a either a 0-3 loss or a 3-0 win. Had to set my sights on 3-0.

Darkness pends->Time pends
Liquid Shadow-> Reverse Time
+1 RT

Game 2: Win
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5ur 5ur 8pt

Horrible draw by Root, he tried one burst at the end but couldn't win. And here's where I make the biggest mistake of the match.

Steal->Stone pillar
Black Dragon->Ghost of the Past

Game 3-5: Loss
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
58o 58o 58o 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5ru 5ru 5ru 5ru 5ru 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5ur 5ur 8pt

Game 3 I think I could have won IF I had kept my Black dragons. I couldn't get the time quanta together to make an attack and RT his creatures.
Game 4 I was completely wasted, early virus>my creatures. Again, might have stood a chance if I didn't switch out my dragons.
Game 5 we desynced, played it out. Discord completely wasted me, I got one RT out with 3 in my frickin hand. Only feel it could have gone the other way if I had got the quanta.

It looks like I'll be losing a rounds progress since I have a 0% chance of actually morphing this into something good. Oh Aether mark ,here I come again Guess I get to morph this horrible deck into something then. >_>

Oh yeah, screw you Discord!
You're just as selfish as I am. You're just not as good at it yet.

it doesnt matter who you play or how many wins they already have.  they cannot create a deck to counter you because they dont know who they are playing in the next round anyway.  maybe i missed it, but there is no eliminations, it is simply a race to get all 6 marks of your alignment first.

As a side effect of this rule, a few participants who did not have a deck and received a bye last round may have a slight advantage for this round only.
i had to pm 4 decks to eva, im confused why not everyone would have had to that received a bye, also, im not too fond of getting the random mark, id rather be able to use the mark i had selected for my win(bye) to be able to use instead of being stuck with time.  Given the choice too, I most definitely would not have chosen earth as a mark completed.  i think time should be completed and i get to use the new one i selected which is life.

I dunno, I am confused still.

Not really. The player that goes 4-0 after 4 games will have to win another 2 against some of the best players in the event in order to go 6-0.
In random, it is more likely that someone will go 6-0 because they could be playing bad players.
Somehow still around, somewhat

anyone can beat anyone, majority of playing a game is what cards you draw.  a bad player beats a great player on their first game in their match, the bad player proceeds to change their cards to continue to destroy that great player.  but then again, that great player could get a perfect draw and whoop the bad player.  would really like it if you stopped referring to anyone as good or bad anyway.

so you pair up only the good players with other good players, and all the bad players are together.  that accomplishes nothing.  the bad players need to play everyone else just the same, and in this way they gain more experience and become better players too.  and since when does a good player always get perfect hands?

random > discriminatory selection

Um, so if I did manage to win at least one game last round then that means I can't revert back to my original deck?
This ^^  Some of us need to know before we start designing this round's decks.

If you won one game, then you must use the same deck.
The only way that really makes sense would be if you have to win 3 minus the number of games won in the previous round before completing your mark.

You use the same deck, but your progress gets reset.

So, you still need to morph 3 cards. The rest of your last round is ignored.

Ok, that kind of sucks because some of us will get penalized by losing both the round we got stuck on a poor morph, and the following round, as a result of a previously poorly thought out morph.  Anyways, just to clarify, you meant to say we still need to make 3 morphs of 2 cells each, correct?
