Okay, first of all, lots of stuff going on in Round 2.
After a short break, there are a couple rules that are going to be active as of NOW.
MercyIf you go through a round without winning a SINGLE game, you can go one mark back in your timeline and remake your deck. Sometimes you make a fatal error and just completely screwed over because of it. This gives you the chance to stay in the game.
ByesIn Round 1 there was a bit of confusion on how I should conduct byes, as a few players decided not to show or there was some issues in the matches.
Effective NOW, if you receive a bye for whatever reason, you gain a random mark that you have yet to complete. Your deck and current mark remain the same.
I may have instructed a few participants in a PM to conduct their byes otherwise. To those it concerns, consider those instructions null, I am taking this new rule into effect NOW.
As a side effect of this rule, a few participants who did not have a deck and received a bye last round may have a slight advantage for this round only.
I apologize for this, but I need to get the Round up. I would appreciate the sportsmanship if those participants decided not to use hard counter-decks for this round, but aside from this request I can do little about this advantage.
RemindersRound 1 was a little bit lax for obvious reasons. But now that everyone knows the rules well enough (I assume), I'll be a bit more strict.
So a few reminders now so you don't make mistakes later:
- Your deck must have EXACTLY 6 cells. Most of your decks fulfill this requirement now anyways, but keep this in mind.
- You cannot change your mark until you win.
- Both the Winner and Loser must post their decks in the Battle Results Topic.
- You cannot freely change the size of Cells. You may however, add or remove ONE card from ONE cell each time you win.
- Take a moment to think before posting your End Deck. If you get caught with something unplayable, then you'll be set back a bit.
- Double check everything.
- Refresh yourself on the rules.
That's all, here are the Match-ups for Round 2!
