I can't find anything either...

Uhm, yes, I can't find a word that mark changing is forbidden there either? EvaRia obviously kept using Time mark as it fits the deck strategy of the example deck better...

I guess I failed to make it clear.

The only time you're supposed to change mark is at the end of the round.

Since I failed to communicate this properly I'm not going to penalize you, but don't do it next round ^^'

I guess I thought it was pretty clear that you choose a mark for the round, but I suppose this isn't the case.

Uhm. I can see your point. Well, only EvaRia can answer, obviously. But since he said this first round was a bit relaxed for obvious reasons, you should be ok.

I understand the relaxed first round, but I guess I think calling the :entropy Mark completed when he used :death in all but 1 deck seems wrong to me.  If anything he should be given credit for completing the :death Mark since that's the Mark he fought the majority of the battles under.
Carpe Diem!!

Okay, so following solutions can be decided upon at the discretion of the two involved:

1. Restart the matchup
2. Result stands
3. Call it a forfeit
4. Death mark considered completed, 10 men must take a different mark for next round other than death
5. Coin Toss
6. Whatever else they can think of

I ask that both 10 men and DevilLoss both confirm their decision here.

Also, Spiraler, you have not posted your deck yet. Please do so ^^.

RootRanger (win) vs kirchj33 (loss)

Code: [Select]
58u 58u 58u 58u 58u 596 596 596 596 596 596 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi
Game 1: Loss. I had a subpar draw and was outrushed.

Game 2: Loss. No immo in my first 13 cards. I was hopeless.

Game 3: Win. Draw wasn't perfect, but it was enough to win. Very close game, came down to the last turn.

Changes for Game 3:
2 Deflagration -> 2 Fog Shield
5 Fire Pend -> 5 Nova
+1 Nova = 6 Nova

Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 58u 58u 58u 58u 58u 596 596 596 596 596 596 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5og 5og
Game 4: Win. Good draw with strong creatures early in the game. Kirch had a bad draw.

Changes for Game 4:
6 Immolation -> 6 Stone Pillar
6 Phoenix -> 6 Graboid
-1 Gnome Rider = 4 Gnome Rider

Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58u 58u 58u 58u 590 590 590 590 590 590 596 596 596 596 596 596 5og 5og
Game 5: Win. Decent draw, but not enough graboids to attack with. Kirchj started off slow, but played three lava golems. Basilisk bloods hurt, and I barely held him off.

Match victory.  :earth is completed.

Changes for Game 5:
4 Iridium Warden -> 4 Discord
6 Gnome Rider -> 6 Earthquake
+1 Stone Pillar = 7 Stone Pillar
Mark = Entropy

Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 590 590 590 590 590 590 593 593 593 593 593 593 5og 5og
Somehow still around, somewhat

Finally snapped out of my Metamorphosis induced depression enough to post some info.  10 hours of planning resulting in a loss will do that to you.  Root's deck was amazingly well thought out, and I saw counters to almost every route I had considered morphing to.  That being said, this was the most depressing loss I've taken yet in my short Elements career, due to the time I spent constructing my decks, and how close I was to winning (within a coin toss twice).  Really well deserved win by Root and he is a pleasure to play against.

Decks I used in my loss to RootRanger:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vf 4vf 4vf 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 52o 52o 52o 52o 590 590 590 590 590 590 595 595 595 595 595 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 8pj

Won - Decent start for Root with 2 turn 2 phoenixes, although he had to cremate a warden instead of a gemfinder to do so.  Had him outdecked pretty well in this first matchup.

Changes:
Purple Dragons ---> Discords
Poison ---> Deflags

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 590 590 590 590 590 590 595 595 595 595 595 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5f6 5f6 5f6 8pj

Won - The decrease in pressure from my deck didn't get a chance to show up here as a turn 1 discord and horrible draw prevented him from getting going.

Changes:
Grabbies ---> Lava Golems
Nova ----> Fire Pillars

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 595 595 595 595 595 595 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f6 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 8pj

Lost x3 - Very close games with the exception of one.  In the end, the exposure of my golems as opposed to the ability to hide graboids from his wardens was the difference.  Had to make some compromises to the effectiveness of my deck in order to set up the next round and my poor deck morphing caught up to me in the end.

Side note:  Never saw a fog shield come out that I can remember.

brettbstock vs. majofa (1-3)

 :fire -->  :entropy

Game 1

Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f8 5f8 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc 5fc
A lot of great draws and CC helped me to win this one. When majofa pulled out a discord, I had a deflag ready.

Game 2

Fire Spirits --> Gravity Pillars
Rain of Fire --> Graviton Fire Eaters

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55u 55u 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc 5fc
He completely owned my phoenixes with excellently played Maxwell's Demons and Antimatter.

Game 3

(No conversion)

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55u 55u 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc 5fc
Very similar to game 2

Game 4

(No conversion... again)

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55u 55u 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc 5fc
Hmmm... I'm beginning to think swapping out Rain of Fire was a bad idea... stupid demons.

Marks Completed:

Absolutely NONE!!

Thanks for being a great person overall, and putting up with my frequent time switches, and setbacks, majofa. Congrats; you definitely deserve the win. Good luck in the rest of the event!

(btw, majofa; my mark is  :fire, not  :aether)
