Okay, here it is, the beginning of this event. I expect confusion. I expect people will make mistakes with deckbuilding. I understand I made this a difficult event.

Don't worry, I'll be a little lenient, since this is only the first round.

The_Mormegil vs Scauduro

Lost every single match. I was a bit unlucky, but ultimately I had no chance against those scorpions. I had a slow deck that focused on controlling, and poison was a deadly counter. All three matches were decided in the first turns, really: he gets out a scorpion fast, I get out a Discord, he gets out another scorpion due to winning coin toss / me having only one pendulum and waiting a lot for Discord / Discord scrambling 3 into 3 or such (happened :-/), then I lock him down. By the time I get my Abominations out and kill his scorpions, I have 10+ poison and die.

My scorpions got out fast enough to get enough poison on Mormegil before he could shut me down. He was unlucky in his draw getting only 1 pendulum. It wasnt the best game because it was really over before it started. Good Game though The Mormegil.

This game was much closer as The Mormegil got out his pendulums early and shut me down much earlier. I got a shield out though and also a dragon which ended up winning it for me. Another good game.

Another close game, the discord was out almost straight away but i still managed to get my scorpions out before he could get his abominations and gravity pull out. I think it was the best game. Good Game, The Mormegil.

dude, I know ICB might not be as hot as me (get it?), but he is a great player...
from experience, if I were to play him in a best of 9, it would probably come out 5-4 in one of us's favor..
