If I think I am gonna lose, I can declare 0-3 and I move 3 tiles anyways? I suggest applying this to winning battles only (3-0 or 3-1 or 3-2)

It's not worded quite right, it should be:

EDIT: how about shards? OP stated no QP for other element, but nothing against in-element cards.

If any rules say no 'Other' cards, assume it also means Shards. lol

Since the idol ends up in the hands of a game-winner after each round, and the winner moves more, so it is unlikely, but due to the tile modifiers it is still theoretically possible that the idol gets crushed by the boulder -- i.e. the holder of the idol gets crushed.

In that case, will there be no winner, everybody loses ?
Or a random player (from the tile closest to the boulder) picks it up (prying from the hands of the fallen player just before it gets crushed by the boulder) ?

Not sure what RR's thoughts are, but I'd say if you have the idol and you 'would' be crushed by the boulder, you're placed one spot in front of it.

So, the only deck size you're allowed to have is 30 cards unless you get an elemental bonus? I'm confused about the 'extra cards' you can use.

only must decksize is with idol having at least 34 cards to get those 5 extra upgraded cards.

the bonus for upgraded cards by elements does not mean, you have to take more cards in this deck.

example: choose aether, 30-60card deck, 6 upgrades anyone has plus 2 upgrades from element chosen = 30-60 card deck with 8 upgrades were 2 have to be aether cards.
you have the idol? you can make a 30-33card deck with 8 upgrades were 2 have to be aether cards OR a 34-60cards deck with 13uprades were 2 have to be aether cards.
