The other element (given by my opponent) was .  One extra pillar/pend; two extra other ups.

6(base)+1(pend/pillar, )+2( bonus)+3( bonus)=12 upgrades.

6+1(pend/pillar)+2+2=11 upgrades.

Where did I go wrong?  For the record, the chat between Laxadarap and I before our match touched on the difficulty in interpreting the rules.  If I broke them, I apologize; I honestly don't see where or how I may have done so, though.

Depending on element you sent to organiser (see 5.1):

you only got that what your tile (not in first round) and your element gives... not opponents. you could use the cards of that element your opponent chosed, nothing more.
