The man in the cloak
It was perhaps for the thousandth time that I stood on the veranda overlooking the court yard that bared our factions symbol. It was triangle with two slashes to the out side it was the symbol feared hated and known as darkness. Five years ago I had discovered my power as an elemental, a person with the power to control one of the elements. Aether, Air, Darkness, Earth, Entropy, Fire, Gravity, Life, and Time these were the powers that the ancient ones gave to our people as a way to protect our world and way of life , and now that very power is being used for war and blood shed. I didn't ask for this power or the Death Stalkers , a group of rouge darkness elementals, to betray our people and kill my wife and child and now I stand here in our sanctum one last time before I must sacrifice everything I've gained so that others might live.
