Continue the story from the previous post.

The Story Of A Tiger
My story begins in a tropical forest on a world at the time had begun to change, because of an unknown force. I was born in the manner as my kind had for thousands of years. The only other tiger known to me at the time was my mother. She was taking care of me just as any tiger mother would. I grew and I was becoming stronger every day. Mother and I were on a hunt, it was going well until suddenly I heard two loud noises. I then began to feel very sleepy. While I was sleeping beings that I had not ever come in contact with before, put me in a cage and they were taking me somewhere I had never been. I woke up to find myself in this small space and my mother was nowhere to be seen. I became angry at these beings for taking me away from my mother. I made a lot of noise and attempted to get out of the small space. Then one of these beings approached me. I was fearful, but the being seemed calm which made me feel a little bit better. The tone of its voice was soothing even though I didn't understand what was being said. The being then went over to an area within the place, then came back with something that smell really good and some water. I was hungry so when the food was put where I could eat it, I ate it quickly and drank some of the water. I began to feel sleepy again so I laid down and went to sleep. When I woke up I found myself in a much larger space, and I could move around. I find an area that had flowing water and over in another area was a large structure.

When I walked around for the first time I didn't realize what this bigger place could offer. I quickly retreated to the corner, where I first woke up. Later, my curiosity overcame me and I walked around to have a better look. This new place was weird. I saw trees and bushes all around me, but they hit me hard, when I tried to climb up on them. I thought I wasn't allowed to do so. There was one little opening, where there were no trees, but I couldn't fit through the weird and cold things, which kept blocking my way. I got tired and walked to the flowing water. It was cold, but without mother there was no other way of cleaning myself. Mother thought me to keep myself clean, "A tiger must be proud and clean" she used to say. I started thinking about her and realized I haven't seen her in a while. I cried out loud, but nothing happened. The beings clearly forgot about me.
Then I walked to the large structure, which I was avoiding until now. I approached it, being a bit afraid. I hid behind a bush for a minute, the one of the two, which I could hide under, and carefully visualized the structure. It was made from chunks of trees arranged in a way, which made it easy for me to walk up on it, however I didn't dare to do so, because of the big black monster moving back and worth. It was a dark and evil creature, scaring me with it's cracking noise. Also there was a red object right under it, I thought it was the cub of the big black. I wondered what it would do, if I went closer, but after a particularly large crack I ran back to the corner on the other side of the field where I woke up earlier. After all this excitement I fell asleep again and dreamed about my mother fighting the evil black creature.

I woke up. Outside of my enclosure, I could hear the voices of the beings. Somehow, I was able to understand them, although some long-lost sense memory told me I should not be able to.
The large one began to speak. It was squat and its skin was translucent and I could see its pale veins underneath. "Remarkably, the species of this creature was able to survive the Apocalypse perpetrated by the sentient beings of this planet. We were originally hoping to understand more about the sentient beings that lived on this planet; They did a remarkably good job of wiping their own species of the face of this planet, and by observing this creature, one of the few creatures left from that era, we were hoping to deduct information about the sentient beings of this planet, but now we are able to deduct more than we ever though we would be able to. This creature contains gene fragments of the beings embedded within its DNA, most likely passed down generation from generation from an original member whose genetic code was fused, whether by accident or intent, with the DNA of the sentient beings. IT is such a pity we must kill this creature to achieve out aims."
Fear overcame me. I most certainly did not want to be killed, but unless I found a way to escape, I would be.
