May I recommend hybrids be named like elements and not like people?

Ex: Brightblossom does not seem to fit in a classification of elemental hybrids.
Of course this is really up to ET more than me, but I think it depends on what you mean by "Named like an elemental"
If you mean where we slap two parts together as per current halfbloods I'd say no, those names are terrible and dull
If you mean something that isn't an existing name for a person, then maybe, but there are many real names that still sound cool
If you mean a purely fantasy, again maybe but then why isn't Brightblossom a fantasy name?
If you mean something that is fantasy and sounds more...masculine? strong? cool? then maybe.
If you mean named like demigods (halfbloods), many gods carried titles and Brightblossom could be changed to "(X), The bright blossom"

You misread.
I am suggesting the hybrid combinations be named like elements (well, paraelements in the case of hybrids).
The pure half blooded elementals should have names like people but I do not believe we should name the hybrid element combinations in the same manner we would name elementals.

Context: I do not believe a life/light hybrid card should put "Brightblossom" in the element section. (I was directed to comment that here)

Whoops, my bad. Sorry about that   ;D hehehe... okay, in that case I think we -could- try, but it may be difficult with some elements and pairs. For example,  :fire :water could be "steam" quanta, fair enough, :water :death ? umm... drowning quanta? but what do we call something like  :gravity :life ? I cannot think of a logical name for the mixture. It's posible, but I think some combinations would cause way to much trouble to make it worth it. I think in game hybrid elements could just be referred to as the elements forming it "light/life" rather than the Halfblood's name "Brightblossom" and that would be fine. The jargon wouldnt likely appear in game too much anyways, and it would be more of the forums wish to say the name or abbreviation.

I also support using the elements involved to denote the hybrid element.
Otherwise I would recommend names that feel like molecular compounds. Lither would fit this nomenclature but Brightblossom would not.

Which names sound better as element only?
Lither and Dar'eth are similar in design.

I will be here (http://sync.in/HybridCardDesign) if anyone wishes to talk naming convention.
