I've been trying to add features other than those in the actual game into my current novel The People of Time. The first is the concept of two health bars, the one used for duels containing 100 hp and a second that opens up when the duel health bar runs out. This is sort of the "real" health bar that decides whether you live or die. I'm thinking it should be a little more than 100, but I can't seem to balance all the elements properly.
Also, there is the case of the regeneration rate, the amount of hp healed every minute, and the standard amount of Quanta that a person can naturally stock up. Here is my draft for the following classes but I still think it's tremendously unbalanced. If you have any ideas I'm open to suggestions.
Ember (Fire) - hp 202; regen 1; quanta 11
Frost (Water) - hp 203; regen 3; quanta 8
Lensmaker (Light) - hp 210; regen 3; quanta 4
Shadow (Darkness) - hp 202; regen 2; quanta 10
Reaper (Death) - hp 205; regen 1; quanta 8
Elven (Life) - hp 208; regen 3; quanta 5
Spade (Entropy) - hp 207; regen 1; quanta 6
