So i was browsing the other day, and saw something interesting. So i read through it, tried posting, but it was a necro! Oh how i hate necros :P

From :life to :death, our world is full of :entropy
From the :air we breath, to the :earth that we live on
We grow ever older as :time passes, yet the :light in our hearts never fades
Even in the :darkness, the :fire in our souls rages on
Some say :gravity is what keeps us here, and :water is needed so we can live
I say it might be :aether, the one misunderstood piece in this world.

In the cycle of :life, there can only be one end result: :death.
No matter what you do, the :light in your eyes will always fade to :darkness.
It's fate. It's only a matter of :time before you too will be taken by the icy claws of the dead.
So while you are here, keep the :fire of life burning in your heart, brave the murky :water of the world and make the :earth rumble at your feet.
For while there may be :entropy in this world that could potentially take away the :air you breathe and sweep you off your feet regardless of :gravity, there's also me. In the :aether, waiting for you to arrive too. Can you break the cycle?

If :life, then :entropy.
:life.
Therefore, :death.

:aether depicts his world above yours.
:gravity dictates that you will submit.
:time reminds you that you follow his rules.
:death wants you to know that there is no point.
:darkness destroys your hope and shows you the absence.
:entropy tells you that you cannot control what you hold dear.
:earth warns you that there is no such thing as strength.
:fire stresses that there is always something more powerful.
:air emphasizes your freedom is actually his.
:life mentions that you're just part of his cycle.
:light shows you a 'way', but it's just a slow death
:water laughs at your over-reliance on him.

The Duality of :life and :death
As time :time passes, nothing changes
:fire and :water are useful, but they can kill us
Both :light and :darkness can blind us, with their opposite ways
I tried to jump highly to the :air, but :gravity pulled me back to the :earth
So I give up to the :entropy in the :aether

Wherever our paths goes, it will certainly cross one thing: the border of :life and :death. Its :time is dictated by God's will, no one can delay or hasten it by a bit.
Everything can be good in moderation, but harmful in abundance. :water and :fire are two prime examples of it.
The laws of :gravity dictates that everything, be in on the :earth, up in the :air, even in the space among the :aether, have some, however slight, attractive force. Therefore, you are attractive.
Try to find a physical process that has a negative net :entropy. Good luck. Good freakin' luck.
:light and :darkness are two concepts that absolutely requires each other for either of them to have any meaning.

Indeed, in the original thread I clearly stated:
"What about short written form (it can be anything, story, poem, dialogue, monologue, etc.) which uses all 12 elements (in their visual forms)."
But this is not my thread, Discord told me about it when it was already out, I had nothing to do with it and you need to ask Discord if she only had poems in mind ^^

(I probably should've take some practice, as it was kinda long time since I've done poetry. Please, don't be too harsh)
We, Elementals, come from merciless land
Where people are striving at the Fate's cruel hand
Where the stories are mixed with the raves of insane
And desire to fight always flows through our veins
But no matter the struggle, we still live in our home
And no :time in the world shall it make undone
Both for living and dead, for crowd and for Gods
Our merciless land will open its doors
Be it active volcano, filled with :fire and ash
Or the forest of :life with it's unending clash
You can be send to fields of the :darkness of night
Or to golden wheat pastures lit brightest of :light
The Mountains of :earth or the :gravity's fields
Of Oceans of :water or the :death's barren hills
We can fly in the :air, some are higher than rest
Some with power to go through dimensions were blessed
By the powers of :aether and the :entropy's seed
All belong to the land whose protection we need
We, elementals, come from merciless land
The war only We have a chance to withstand

:death responds, "Because you are a beautiful lie..."
"And I am a painful truth."
:life: But what is it about me that people love?
:death: The :time that passes with its changes, with its bonds and pleasures.
:death: I am seen as a world of :darkness, a world of pain. And yet, people overcome it.
:death: But people forget about this eternal destiny that all :life will lead us to, because...
:death: They prefer not to endure a painful truth, they prefer to live within something they call beautiful, :life.
:life: But :time will lead them to it, so what's so bad about you?
:death: Their fear is what makes their minds consider :death bad. They consider it as a loss.
:death: The temporary :life they have, where they pass their :time as sentient beings...
:death: The :entropy it possesses, the abiliy for anything to happen in what's called reality...
:death: Anything good or anything bad, as where they take the best for themselves, in order to continue with what they call beautiful...
:death: But there is :light in the :darkness.
:death: A world of :light is what they seek... But nothing exists without its counterpart.
:death: The steadiness of :gravity which they seek, but the flow of chaos that :entropy has remains within.
:death: The existence and wisdom of :aether which they chase, but they flee the change of :time.
:death: The freedom in :air, and the prison that :earth maintains.
:death: The calmness of :water, and the rage of :fire.
:death: Reality remains on all, and for them, it relies on our existence, and what we give.
:life: So you're saying they see you as the villain, and they see me as the protector?
:death: Yes. :life, without you I wouldn't exist, and if I didn't, this would make them endure a painful destiny that they can't avoid.
:death: You can see us as the yin-yang, two sides of a coin, but the good in the bad and the bad in the good is still present.
:life: Well, you certainly did lecture me there, but... I think I get it.
