Vault editing should be primarily done by the team Vault Organizer using the following link: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AkPg5hwmtLisdFVXVXB1N1ZMQ3o3cGw3UF92bDBfQlE&hl=en&authkey=CNCtk5wF

Do not give this link to anyone outside your team!

When you edit the Vault, please post on this topic, explaining what edits you made. For example:
Quote
Round 1:
Salvage +24
Discard -18
You do not have to list specific cards. Changes might take up to 5 minutes to become visible.

15-24 dragons / 15-24 miracles / 15-24 morning glories (maybe) / 15-24 pegasi / 9-18 of some other :light cards. Other cards will probably come from what decks we make. We'll also want a lot of versatile cards from other elements, like dimensional shield and deflagration.

Anyone got anything else to add as of now?

Pendulums, imp. Like 50(?) and 100ish light pillars. Since we have no mark restriction this time, pendulums can help us a lot, so we don't waste cards on other element's pillars. (not to mention the advantages of multiple stacks against EQ)
So, tell me my friend, what can you see? What comes into your mind as you breathe?

It seems to me if we're doing a lot of duos, and almost no monos, then shouldn't the pillar number be lower and the pendulum number be higher?

Exactly my thoughts.

Quote from: War #2 Rules
As a new rule in War #2, teams now have the option to convert some of their cards. This means that they can replace any card in their Vault with a Pillar or a Pendulum of their element.
Since we have this option, we should probably start with relatively few pendulums and pillars, and as the war progresses we can convert our weaker decks into them.

Possible loophole to make for a more exploitable Vault:

Instead of taking a large amount of Pillars/Pends, instead take none, and simply fill up what would have been Pillars with more useful cards like near-useless creatures (In the case of Earth, it'd be Gemfinders. There's really no use for having more than 6) and then just whatever else your element has to offer. When matches are announced, convert only the amount of pillars you need from trash cards, (or just cards you won't need) enabling you to have a much "larger" Vault.

Is there going to be some limits to the card conversion?
Yes. I decided to fix this exploit by having a 12 card conversion limit per round. This means that teams can convert a maximum of 12 cards per round.

It's simple and should do the trick.
Just something to have in mind.

Hee. Vault's up, and I love it. Change a number, and all the others change in accordance. Thanks, Scaredgirl.

Okay, time's starting to run low, so we really need to start getting our Vault together. C'mon, people, don't be shy.

Miracle X24

I don't think anyone can disagree with this. It's our 'trump card', of sorts, and many of decks will or could use a few of it. I'm also thinking of a decent amount of cards that pair well with Miracle; namely poison-inflicting cards (Poison, Arsenic, Dune Scorpion) and Stone Skin. Take some Bone Wall for extra stall with the Poison/Arsenic, Titanium Shield for Stone Skin.

For Light cards, something like what asym did with his image, except with more dragons and pegasi, and less Morning Stars. Morning Star's a decent weapon, but we're not gonna use very many of those in decks other than Flying Stars. If we get more pegasi, some air cards like Wings and Fog Shield would help in a Blessed Pegasus deck.

Some versatile cards like Fractal could be useful, especially if xdude wants to use a RoL/Hope at some point. Maybe some Lightning in it; RoL/Hope with CC sounds like fun.

Do enough of us have any of a particular nymph for it to be worth adding some?

I agree that I can't disagree with 24 miracles. Also, I think 50 light pendulums and 40 light pillars would be a good start. (Of course we'll need more, but we can get definite numbers later.)

If we look at what fire did in the last war, we see that they made their vault out of 11 decks and 29 "filler" cards. I suggest we do something similar. That is, pack 7-10 decks in our vault, (Modifying when needed for vault restriction.) and fill the rest with cards that can be modded into the pre-built decks, or can have their own deck if you borrow cards from others. Also, we can do card conversion this war, so perhaps we should pack more utility cards than one would have had to last war. (And less pillars/pendulums)

Of course, this doesn't mean that we have to use pre-built and modded pre-built decks. We just use the decks as a bit of guide for what we might need during the rounds.

Do enough of us have any of a particular nymph for it to be worth adding some?

That's exactly what we did last War and what I'm planning on doing this time around as well. Also, join our private chat.
