I lost to Neopergoss if you haven't gotten around to reading that thread.  I honestly can say that was my hardest fought match of the war, but ultimately he won fair and square.

Now that thats out of the way, I wanted to say thank you for being such a nice team.  I've seen others get snooty and nit-picky throughout the war, and I can gladly say we avoided almost all of that.  Our biggest mistakes were just that, mistakes.  War's meant to be enjoyed, and I very much did so as General of :light.  Thanks so much for making it fun.

I feel like we deserve 12th.
Since a few days into war, I could tell that we just weren't as motivated as the other teams.
From the lack of productivity, it seems like the rest of the team didn't care very much about :light winning. It's not your fault, since you never chose to be here. I just hope light gets players that care more.

coinich: you spent a lot of time managing the team, and it helped. Creating the chat, working on the vault, etc.
Boingo: the war #3 decks helped deckbuilding. It kept us in the event.
Hrmmm: you spent a lot of time on the vault. Thanks.

I hope we all had fun even despite the turmoil and mistakes.  Not to make excuses, but we overcame a lot to arrive where we did--after all, we were the only (non-UW) team to go the full War without a Master and none of our team members even participated in the Light trials.  Like many of you, I arrived to this team a :light noobie but feel I am less so now.  Personally, I was happy to win a couple of games and had no issue with giving up the slot so that others could play more matches.  I'd like to thank you all for being on my team and making it some fun!

Special thanks:

Thank you, coinich, for your leadership and humor under adverse consequences.

Thank you, hrmmm, for keeping the books and dealing with all the last-minute madness.

Thank you, RootRanger, for all your tireless work with deckbuilding, testing and strategy.  You were the whole package and a definite gem to be acquired next War (if you aren't a Master!)
Bring back Holy Cow!

First of all, i thanks to coin, that he allow me to join this war in team  :light. I had done much mistakes as salvager in this event, i know that. Anyway it was a good feeling to be your teammate. But this phrase a little bit hurt me, because you don't know how many times i spent with deck testing, what i posted in the first few rounds (and pls. don't forgot the timezones...). I feel this a little bit unfair. I know you are a pro player, but i feel all of people in this team made their best.
And again thx for all!

Thank you all for giving me the honor to fight for this team (even if i did this not as succesfull as i planed^^).
It was a fun and i enjoyed to be a :light soldier.

Thanks also for the whole team to keep a sportiv spirit up. Even if we didnt get the rank this element deserves, this team fought with respect and and sportsmanship.

As a last duty of me, i start the vote for our favorit decks. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26788.0.html)

We also need to see what threads to delete.
I would like to delete the Decks in the Vault thread, since I might want to keep some of those ideas hidden for next war.
Should we provide a link to our chat in the forum so everyone can see what everyone did?
Or should we remove the chat histories and keep it hidden?

@valuka
Sorry.
But it bothered me how in some rounds, I rarely saw anyone else saying anything until the last day, and then coin, hrmmm, Boingo, and I would finish everything.
It would've helped to make decks or contribute your opinion what types of decks we should run.

People make mistakes, but if more people are contributing more of the mistakes can be fixed.
Some of our decks really sucked. Mine included. I just wish more people would've been working on that process.

We played almost every deck we could; I don't see anything as worth deleting before its made public.  I much rather keep everything archived, including the backup logs.

No need to say sorry Root. You just wrote, what you feel and saw in chat. I just wrote, what i feel. We don't need to sub anyone in whole war, and i think we all made our best. We had made mistakes, yes.

^This.

I can't seem to focus on one opinion of my own, so I'll sum it up in two instead.

From the point of my noobish self - it wasn't so bad. It was my first war, I was dealing with RL issues at the same time, and yet hrmmm covered for me with Vault changes (Which conviently ended while I couldn't be on), and we had our moments. This side of me walks away satisfied.

From the point of my more logical self - Meh. I'm sorry for not being able to contribute to the team enough, but maintaining so much stuff on the forum and RL can only go so far. I'm suprised the RNG favored me so much but as I said on one of willng3's matches, sometimes sheer fact will beat small luck and vice versa - e.g. team Aether is a bit more focused than we were in comparison, in a sense. This side of me walks away disappointed, and maybe a little angry at some.

Good games, everyone.

Pretty negative statements as usual this war.... you are no doubt a great person from what I have seen and a talented player.  If you become general, I would suggest working on your leadership style.

I make no apologies for my efforts this role.  It was my first.  I made a few decks.  I tested my decks each round for hours, I helped others test for hours.  I made suggestions that went ignored throughout war, right down to the final round.  Basically, my involvement was pushed away with each attempt.  I enjoyed the company of everyone and it was a good experience for the first time.  I am sure it will help me to have more success in war 4.

I guess I didn't make any friends this war, huh?

I'm not going to try to defend myself or list what I did or didn't do.  I enjoyed myself and being a part of this team.  I'm okay with everything we tried and everything we did and feel like we were a team our opponents had to truly consider and plain against.  They of course were more victorious then ourself, resulting to our early demise.  There can only be one winner, and it isn't us.

Were I feel the cracks were:
Our leader and general left without a sound before anything happened... leaving us without a direction.  Our vault preparation were...lax.  This can be seen in round 6 with our 'necessary' suicide.  We made bad guesses, we sent the wrong cards to the wrong places, we were out thought and outplayed..
I didn't contribute and iterate enough.  No excuse here... I could have done more.[/list]
