Through many hours of study, I've come to the following conclusion. Light is really the only way to go, and all the other elements are really anti-elements.

Light succeeds for the following reason:
:light You need it to see the screen.

Other elements fail for the following reasons:
:aether Because you're in another dimension
:air Because you're up in the air and your computer is not
:darkness Because you can't see the screen
:death Because you are
:earth Because you're underground
:entropy Because random clicking cancelled your internet
:fire Because you're on fire and it hurts
:gravity Because you're lying on the ground and can't lift your arms
:life Because you have one
:time Because you lack it
:water Because you're underwater

From this evidence, you can clearly see that :light is better.
