As usual, the purpose of this thread is to get some discussion done before we actually set up our strategy, as well as pick through our mistakes and fix them up as best as we can.

Current concerns are:
-Improvement of deck prediction.

Meh. The last stand we have is ruined, but I can make a new one.
So far I want to go with an entropy duo (discord beats stall, antimatter beats high damage).

Or I could quit war like the rest of the team.

No. Only 1 team member has quit on us, and he wasn't exactly that reliable. We're going out as a team.

We're all still here, even a little bit.  'xcept for Ryan, but noone cares about him anymore.  Your last stand idea was great, and please don't delete the thread.  It was my luck and playing that kept us from using it.  I foolishly didn't think about Deflags and could've held my Dagger until I got an AW the first match.

At this point, we're pretty washed up.  Kael's auditing pretty hard, and we've lost two of our strongest builds.  As it is, we have a rainbow option and Discorders, which are both strong options.  We aren't out of this yet, and I'd like to remain out of the bottom 3 if possible.  If we mentally quit now we can't make it through the next round.

There are three players that so nothing to make decks or help salvaging.
Another two give some help and contribute some to the discussion.
Another thre are strong, quality players.

It would help if the lowest category worked a little harder.
Test decks. Balance quanta. If deckbuilding is too much just test decks that we are considering using.

I'm not sure building a list of players we have beefs with is gonna fix things though.  Naming names is just gonna split the team further.  It feels like the QWOP game sometimes; starting feuds won't help at all.  I feel like our prediction skills at this point just suck.  We can test so many builds and QI till our fingers fall off but that won't help vs hard counters.  If we're in this next round, we need to be able to adapt, and right now thats where we're suffering.

Of course, thats assuming we have any room to actually use to build a deck.

How about someone else does most of the deckbuilding this round, and see how it goes?

I feel like our prediction skills at this point just suck.
...
I have never heard a more true statement in my life.
I'm going to apologize for being unable to become more involved in the testing - I always appear online on the forums but chances are I'm usually doing something else in RL 75% of the time these days. It's frustrating, and I think somewhere along the line I've ticked Root off in the process, so apologies to him too.

We have two decks left, right? So that means we just need to select the right decks to keep and pick the right ones to fight against whoever the RNG rolls us with next round. We still have time to redeem ourselves in prediction skills.

So we need better predictions.
How about someone else does most of the deckbuilding this round, and see how it goes?

Have fun.
Splitting the team isn't going to work like coin said, but somehow we're going to have to devise a way to get people more involved. How about each participating team member tries to build their own deck this round, and we split our team in half to work on each deck? Then we meet in the middle and compromise a lot.

There would probably be vault problems if we did that.

How about we have our strongest predictor (hrmmm, perhaps?) and have them say the gist of what each match will be, such as grabbow, SS/Miracle, discorders, antimatter, etc.
Then a couple deckbuilders can submit their ideas to follow our predictor's guidelines, and the whole team can test the decks against decks seen the last round.
The best decks would be used, and there wouldn't be as heavy vault restrictions because of the predictor's guidelines.

You're not required to do the majority of the deckbuilding, though I thank you for doing so.  My criticism wasn't at you for not predictiong well, it was at all of us for not commenting on what we thought we might face.

You don't want excuses, but at the start of the phase I was busy moving back home, you beat me by a day.  Z has a good idea, at this point we can each build our own deck within the first day to be tested and retested and pried apart looking for flaws.  You don't have to take it all on yourself Root, I will ensure it gets done.

Perhaps my biggest fault this entire war was letting members bleed over into other roles.  I let you take over deckbuilding despite the fact that hrmmm is down for that.  We may get hit for a salvaging penalty because I didn't enforce valuka's duties with the Salvage thread and where the information was.  I should've had everyone PM me for review after their job was done, and not doing so has allowed people to fill in unevenly, leading straight up to your stress.

As bad as it looks right now, the survival of the next round(s) has as much to do with match-ups as the actual decks we can make.  Namely, if we match up with weak teams with catastrophic vaults, we might get a few wins (and I'm not including suicides.)

Last War I thought we were done for about 3 rounds too early.  One difference, however, is this last round's event card had the effect of exposing more of our vault than we normally would have, so there will be little guess work for opponents.  Still, they will have to face stronger teams than us, and may send the stronger decks against them.  If not, we get crushed and get to prepare for the next War....

We're in rough shape, but don't let it get you down.
Bring back Holy Cow!

I will apologize here for my afk/silent status on this team.  I do keep track of everything going on.  I just haven't wanted there to be the 'too many cooks' happening, so I've been testing my deck and making sure I know how to play it/ hat I can expect from my opponent.  I've put in where I see fit, and have otherwise kept my head down... probably to the detriment of the team.  I'll try to do more (with what time we have left).

I understand there have been some real heros on our team, in terms of keeping the vault straight and building the decks.  All of the decks have been solid.  My only comment on them is you have been doing a phenomenal job building them.
