Round 5 Decks

Dragoon vs. Corrum
Code: [Select]

Helios vs. MrBlonde
Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58s 58s 58s 593 593 593 593 593 593 594 594 594 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5lh 5lh 5lh 5li 5li 5li 5liFocus EQs on his Aether Pillars.  You want to stop him from chaining Phase Shields as well as saving for Fractals.  Wait to use Stone Skin until as late as you can safely.  But use them before Miracle'ing so that he has to go through the health twice.  Keep a close eye on those Aether quantum.  Remember, those Recluses hit for a whopping 6 points.

Hobnob5000 vs. Terroking
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vk 4vk 4vk 4vn 5l8 5lf 5lf 5lf 5l9 5l9 5lb 5lb 5ld 5ld 5le 5le 5le 5le 5le 5le 5lg 5lg 5lk 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5omWin, if you can.  :D

Implosion vs. Demagog
Code: [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c3 5c3 5c3 5c5 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lb 5lb 5lb 5lh 5li 5li 5liUse the Heals after a Miracle.  It'll buy you some time to save up enough Light quantum again.

My guess is that we're going to have to make 1 suicide deck.  Any thoughts on decks?

Against girlsgeneration, I know she loves speed decks and hates stall decks.  If it were up to her, I'd guess she'd go with an Immolation deck.  The RTs from last round would absolutely slaughter Immo decks.  But it's doubtful she'll get Immos since Fire is going up against 2 Entropy decks.  Immolation nullifies Discord.  So maybe an Earth deck with EQs to kill her Fire pillars?  Main problem is lack of damage.  We don't have enough creatures.   :(

Edit: I just counted, we can only field 4 decks.  And 1 of them has to be a suicide deck.

I would assume we'll probably suicide against Terro... the other decks are gonna be tough to come up with. The deck against Mrblonde is of course going to be water-light I would presume. Anti-:fire and anti-:earth... those are gonna need some serious collaboration to come up with.

So who are we going to field? I personally would still like to play - though I understand if I can't. How should we decide? Should we draw lots? Should whoever asks to play first, get to play?

Don't know.  It'd be nice if someone with some authority made an executive decision before he leaves. *hint, hint*

I should be able to play, though if you don't want me, and want the players with more experience, I understand that.

Edit: nvm, looks like they already changed the deckbuilding thing - so 2 of us have to sit out

I don't mind sitting out, and since xdude is away anyway(I think?) I guess he would be the 2nd one?

RNG time; smallest number fails:

Hob:56

Drag:37

Imp:12

Candle:69

Helios:67

So me and Imp will skip this. Sorry Imp. I'll be gone for the next round as well, so, I'll have to skip that too. If Light is still in, I'd be happy to play after that.

So Helios, we know MrBlonde has this deck:
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52q 52q 52t 52t 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 622 713 713 713 713 713 80iHe may have enough cards to make another duo but I'd guess that he's going with this.  If he can use both Fractals, there's a decent chance he could overrun you I think, even with our Ice Shield up.  What if went and used the Earth-Light deck instead?  Titanium Shields to block Arsenic and 2 damage from all creatures, plus EQs to slow down Phase Shields and Fractals.  If we gave you both Dragons and 3 MS, that'd keep the pressure on him.  He'd have to choose between Fractals or Shields.  I think it may be the better deck against upped Recluses.
Edit: Maybe something like this?
Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58s 58s 58s 593 593 593 593 593 593 594 594 594 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5lh 5lh 5lh 5li 5li 5li 5li
Hobnob/Implosion
I was thinking about using our Life-Light deck but adding Heals and Druidic Staff this time.  If we can make the deck 32-36 cards, we might could deck them out.  Just an idea.  Unless we can think of another deck, I suppose Terroking will get the suicide deck.
Edit: Maybe something like this?
Code: [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c3 5c3 5c3 5c5 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5le 5le 5le 5lf 5lf 5lf 5li 5li 5liDragoon
I'm thinking maybe the Water-Light deck has enough CC to hold off Fire until they deck out.  I'll add our Freeze to the mix and hope it's enough to stem the damage tide till deck-out.

Any better ideas?

Oh snap.  We're down to <20 hours.  Any more thoughts on the cards to salvage/discard?  What about decks?

Edit:
Putting decks up just in case.  Still taking suggestion/modifications.

If we went with my alternate salvage from Zeru's deck, we could do this for a suicide deck instead:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l9 5l9 5lb 5lb 5lc 5lc 5lc 5lc 5lc 5ld 5ld 5le 5le 5le 5lf 5lg 5lg 5lk 5oc 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk
Someone please double check to make sure I did the cards right for our matches.  Thanks.
