deck recommendations:
This is a tough one.  I don't think we can build a better novabow than entropy, and so I don't think we should try to aim for that mirror match.  In my (rather extensive) experience playing fatass stalls against grabbows, I have found that the fatass stall usually wins.  I don't think entropy would dare using that particular SoI deck against us when we have mirror shield, though they might have six sofr / other shard to use in its place, so we can't count on that.  I'm not sure how pandebonium does vs rol/hope; on the one hand, most of the rays will die, but on the other, we can do the fractal thing on a saved RoL, plus it is likely some will survive anyway.  Again, I think with a bit of healing, that it could work, but we might want rol/hope elsewhere.

1) Air/Light stall.  I think that this could beat grabbow and pandebonium with very good odds.  If they throw SoP into a grabbow, that would probably doom us, especially if a bit of PC is thrown in, which it almost certainly would be.  PC alone would not stop the stall, though, unless it was something like pulverizer, and even then, they'd have a hard time making a viable deck that could use it more than a few times.  My one worry would be that they play the fractal dragon/dim thing.  That would be basically a guaranteed loss for the air/light stall.  It's also the deck I played last round, and I'm the one up against entropy, so they might be expecting it.

Which brings us to...

2) Aether/light stall.  Six dims and however many sundials would be pretty much autoloss for the fractal dragon deck; they'd never get through.  They might swap lobos for discords, and that's fine; in my experience, dims usually beat discords.  It still does alright against the grabbows, but with only 1 lightning, we haven't exactly got CC to burn the way we do in Air.

3) RoL/hope.  Seems like it should do alright, but I'd like to see testing against the pandebonium and the fractal dragon/dim deck first if possible.

outlier:
4) Pugons.  I think that honestly, this is a terrible choice.  However, it would be absolutely HILARIOUS if they brought the SoI deck and we just PUed all their shard golems... because they swapped out SoW to duck our mirror shields.

deck suggestions:

1) firestall seems fairly good here.  Most of their decks are a bit slower, and firestall could exploit this, as well as their lack of PC.  Voidstall might be fast enough to beat it, though
2) no-blessing pegasus rush (because RT)  SoFr bypasses their shields, and is just fast.  The damsel version seems pretty good against neurotoxin as well, since it gets a bunch of damage on the field before neuro can even start, and they're tougher to rewind.

water - rolhope (can't see savagery working unless lieutenant)
death - monolight rush (savagery lieutenant, drop one upgrade as a result?)
entropy - aether/light stall if we predict fractagon/dim, air/light stall otherwise.  savagery easy to do here
time - firestall (savagery means no dials though unless lieutenant)
aether - catatitansader (no savagery; don't think we can spare the upgraded speed, even if it is just pends)

upgade role is also possible in combination with savagery, for a net of 5 upgrades. (8+2-5, but 4 in element)  This could work on monolight, with a few changes, for example.  If rol/hope is playable with 5 rols and no other ups, it could work there, too

Have you tested that deck? I've tested variants for R1 & R2, comes off slow. What matchups does it beat which the current rol/hope doesn't?
Did some testing now with Discord. Neither boltrush or rolhope do well vs their monowater. Boltrush really needs dials. I'd lean towards running 6 dials with upgrade role. Discord pointed out saders were vadersader does quite well but then it loses to sopawarden. boltrush loses too, even with dials, rolhope wins. I was experimenting with a 3 deflag boltrush that ran fire pillars/pends up to 50% rule & maybe it'd have a chance but if you deflag pulvy sopa stays that much longer

I didn't go with Firestall vs Time because I think their lack of PC in R1 shows how easily they'll be able to use PC vs us, not having to stretch it amongst everyone else

I have made some tests, but the reason I've chosen it is mind-gaming. We haven't used rol-hope, people are waiting for it, our firestall has lost, people won't be awaiting the same person to run the same deck twice, especially since it lost. Other than that, I agree with serprex 100%.

note: if 2 or more people disagree with my choice, I will change my deck according to their choice :)
