I wanted to proposed the Idea of having
Light Apprentices Now, I know that clearly nobody else can be involved in this board, or is involved in the War itself. And also that since last war we have rookies and extra players, so there has been changes already.
That said you just have to look at the War threads to realise how many people missed out, and how many are keen-enough-to-apply but not keen enough to fight the underground. Not to mention how many people are in the community in fan art, card creation or even deck creation but are not interested in a mass-pvp event. What I propose is that we advertise for "Light apprentices" and create a small section on our propaganda page down the bottom where we list them..
I know the rules and I DON'T mean to involve them in the war in any way. Repeat: No involvement in the war in any way! All it represents is a chance for those in the community not fighting (due to not being picked or not interested in PvPing) to support one of the elements (or in this case, light).
At the end of the day being on the Propaganda page makes them feel involved in the team.
Why bother?-
More light supporters = more votes in propaganda competition (i.e. we'll win it)

More interest in the war = more light players, more light support, more applicants for light next time - more community interest in the next war (and in this one in general)

More interest in the war = more people joining elements - and probably sticking around.. if you are an apprentice this time you are more likely to be involved next time.. Also if as a newbie you can have your name in the forum and be involved in something.. support a team, cheer the victories.. I think you are more likely to become involved in the community (good for all)
- I'd be proud that light initiated an idea that got a lot more of the community together..
If it is clear that they are supporters in name (ONLY) then I see no reason for any objections - and it definitely doesn't breach any rules. Other teams are moving in the direction of enlisting community support (with the polls posted by both gravity and darkness about element synergy) - we are just taking it to the next level. We could run the idea past SG before (to clarify it), but I think it would be a great thing for the elements community as well as boosting team light for this war.
