Round 1 - decks

Ok, after more testing with implo, we've decided the deck officially sucks against any deck with CC.  Rustlers are the lynchpin to this deck and hence the focus of most CC.  And if you can't keep a Rustler running, you're screwed.  So throwing out this deck.

Well, it seems we have two fights against Fire.  What now for decks?

What if xdude played a Raging Angel deck with Miracles?  Might be fast enough to take down a fire deck.

Maybe we can shrink the Aether and Water deck-out decks to 36 and leave out 1 Miracle apiece.  That'd give xdude 2 Miracles to work with.  There's definitely pros and cons for the smaller decks.  I doubt most element teams will play decks larger than ~32 except Time so decking them out shouldn't be a problem.  And smaller decks are more consistent.  However, going down to 4 Miracles means we're drawing Miracles 1 out of 9 instead of 1 out of 8 cards.  I think the trade-offs would be worth it though.

That'd be 18 Miracles.  Man, nobody better lose those Miracles.  We need 'em.

We'd need to test this, but I think the counter-aether deck could drop 1 Light Pillar, Miracle, EQ, and Titanium Shield.  And the counter-water deck could drop 1 Light Pillar, Miracle, Ice Bolt, and Ice Shield.

What do you guys think?

Raging Angels could win, but I really think I kinda need 3 Miracles in order to draw one fast. I'm pretty sure Helios is gonna be OK with 3, since that deck trashes mono Aether with ease, with it's 6 EQ's. Man, I sure am worried about Gravity. Like, we met the player which could bring the best counter to Light in the first round. That sucks. I guess Hob will be all right, let's hope Jumba makes a deck-outer with no creature control

I bet Jumba is going to use upped Otys in conjunction with Gravity shield. That means that all of our creatures would be useless. I would have suggested Quintessence, but there's none in our vault. We need ideas people.
