After testing quite a few versions of my earlier deck, I ended up with 2 versions that I liked.
For facing decks with QC:5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f5 5f5 5f5 5f8 5f8 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fb 5fb 5fb 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5lh 5lh 5li 5li 5li 5li 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq
Initially the idea of the Immo was to get a first turn fire shield, but even with the fairly thick lines*, it rarely happens. However, Photon + Immo + RoF gets you out of devourer lock (unless they burrow), and the Immo can be used to gain quanta even when you've been EQ'd. Granted, this isn't going to help you with you miracles, but it does help with controlling the opponent until you get more pillars.
@asymmetry: I tried the flying weapon, but it really didn't help. 'sides it's a 5-card combo (Photon + Immo + MS + Flying Weapon + MS) that only helps early game (~80% of the time I killed my opponent with 1 MS before drawing all the cards needed to get out a second one).
For facing decks without QC:5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f5 5f5 5f5 5f8 5f8 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lh 5lh 5li 5li 5li 5li 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq
Yes, I realize there are fire pillars in here. If that's a problem, swap them with light pendulums, but personally I like it with the fire pillars, so I posted it that way.
PC is not a huge problem for either deck 'cause the MSs are immortal, and if your fire shield get taken/destroyed just use your other control cards or drop another. The deck can be rushed, but only on a bad draw, which isn't common. Feel free to test and tweak it, I'm all for making all our decks as good as they can be.
I'm off to work on trying to make an unconventional deck or two work well.
* Just in case you didn't know, I meant that I was running a lot of the cards required for the combo.
EDIT: Here's one of those crazy decks I was working on:
5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 61r 61r 61r 61r 622 622
It pwns most control decks***, but (obviously) has trouble dealing with rushes, and certain shields**. I know it looks ridiculous, but it's actually pretty good if it stays away from rushes and the 3 shields**. If we do use it, it's probably best suited to taking out control decks. In fact, it was designed to be a control-proof rush**** without using Quint.
I hate rewind so much after testing this.
** Gravity Shield, Phase Shield, and Hope to be precise.
*** The ones that it doesn't pwn are the ones that have rewind...duh.
**** Stop laughing.
EDIT2 (V1.3):
vampire light dragon+angels to heal them (need help with this one!)
Here's my favorite version thus far:
5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5la 5la 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5uo 5uo 5ur 5ur 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu
I tried this same deck with angels instead of blessings. Personally, I like the blessing version.
