K, thanks.. later today I'll start a new thread with our vault split and deck for this round.

We won't 'announce' our suicide until the very last couple hours so other teams will have less time to prepare.

OK, sounds good. I think we should discuss all the strategy here and leave the vault split thread (along with future s/d/c) as clean as possible because we shouldn't edit any of the post and it's a lot easier to read.

So, here is what I can say about my tests against entropy.

vs Entropy
These are the decks that I used:

Deck import code : [Select]
5li 5lk 5lk 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 61q 61q 61q 622 622 622 622 63a 63a 63a 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7ju 7ju 7k4 8pu

I got 15-0s vs both of the Entropy decks. Although my tests probably doesn't mean much here since the AI is really stupid playing any of these decks; I really don't see how anything can go wrong with us playing RoL/hope.

I'm not claiming these are the best build for both sides. For our deck, I figure that upped Hope could give more room for Angels since less RoLs required. Sometimes I don't even need to fractal the RoLs since 5 is enough (unless there are dragons) and I can get enough light quanta from the pends. Miracle is there hoping that could get us out of the danger of bad draws, but I think it can be replaced with pends if needed. But certainly no sanctuary, because it can be stolen. Though it might help if they decide to use the dissipation shield. Three lightnings just to be safe in case they have more than 1 nymph. As for the Entropy deck; though I didn't see any extra AMs or dissipation shields, I figure it is better to test with the worst scenario possible.

I'm not sure if this is an obvious strategy or not, but I think it's better that after your first fractal, you should just hold on to your cards and wait for the best time to max-fractal the Angels. By not playing any cards, you can discard the unimportant cards such as extra RoLs, Hope and miracle to free your hand. So, even if you can't make an OTK, you could maximize the amount of angels you can play in the next two turns.

I didn't test with the other possible cards such as pest, BE and LS because I don't see how that will make a different in the result.

vs Time
These are the decks that I used:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5li 5lk 5lk 5lk 5lm 5lm 5lm 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 622 622 622 622 63a 63a 63a 6rk 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7ju 7ju 8pu

I got 13-2/12-3 for the first poisondial (with Arsenic) and 6-4/3-7 for the second one (with Eternity). It's a lot easier than I thought it will be, but that's probably because the crappy poisondial that I build. >.<

Again I'm not claiming these are the best build for both sides. Though the long sword doesn't help much, it can slowly do damage especially when sundial is on. As for the Time deck, they might not have any Eternities left, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to test. Also, I didn't see any deja-vu either but they can easily replace that with something else like fate egg.

For the first posisondial, I lost mostly because couldn't play Hope fast enough and/or Miracle didn't show up. For the second deck, it's a bit tricky and mostly it depends on the starting hand since I can get draw lock pretty easily. If I didn't play any creatures, I couldn't have enough quanta for Sancs and/or Miracle. The losses mostly not because deck out, but pure damage from poisons.

I don't think nova-graboid with only rewind as CC will be a problem. Am I right about this? >.<
Probably better to test them anyway... Also, I'm not sure what kind of deck they can create after salvaging from gravity (assuming that they will win). Chargers and Pharaohs?

Decks I tested against:

1-5 for :light
No chance. I closely to always got an early Nightmare, hitting the AI with around 6 cards before fractal. Still the Quanta was too much to deny and even 4 RoLs+Hope were plenty to stall long enough for more to come.

Upped Pandas:

Something like this could be pretty nasty, but as long as Majo has the bigger deck (or RNG spares some rewinds) and plays for save, even pandas are beatable.

This is our original plan. Although, I'm looking at those Deflagrations, and wondering if we should keep them. If we play :time next round, we might be able to get some Novas back and use them in the final round vs :death and their ~most likely~ Dim Shields.

Since I can use 9 upped cards, we might be able to do without the 2x Golden Dragons. I don't play till later, so please post your thoughts.

5 nova 1 sword 2 deflagration into Light Pendulum sounds good to me. Rather than worrying about Death, I would worry about Time and Darkness. Poison sundial and Ghost Nightmare. Versus Time, the deflags could actually help, but we should be able to rush them with angels. The real problem are Ghosts. They are the reason I decided to give up my vault. I hope they get eliminated by Death. Against DimShield, Dragons would be really nice. Just stall long enough and go for OTK (note, they have plagues, so you might have to cast fractal multiple times on Rays)

i would say, take those deflags and skip dragons... you have angels for damage, they are strong and will give you the power you need! otk with dragons are good, but against those generals i guess, stalling till that time is not that easy! so 2 deflags are more winnable!

So, our next opponent is Time. No changes in vault intel on the last deck that Time used, except the 6 possible salvages that they could take from Gravity.

They have poisondial, nova-grabboid (assuming that they haven't convert that), maybe some Eternities, Pharaohs and 6 cards from Gravity salvage:

Probably they take the chargers and the flying weapons.

Nothing useful except those swords.

I did a brief test vs two decks - poisondial and charger/pharaoh deck.
These are the decks that I used:

I got 5-1 for the first deck and 3-3 for the second one. Not sure how I feel about this deck compared to RoL/Hope, but I do think that this deck relies more on the healing part (sancs and Miracles) rather than pure damage. Though the dimshield doesn't look really useful here, but I feel it did help me. vs the poisondial, I try to play them as soon as I can to avoid poison from Arsenic; and vs the charger/pharoah deck, it help in later stage where lots of scarabs already in field while I heal from sancs and occasionally miracles.
