Kirchj33 and I tested this against the 4 decks death used against us last war. Each deck was played 5 times.
This deck went 19-1.

I have provided 3 options below for my match, but will take whatever the team thinks will give me the best chance to win.  To be honest, it's not looking good.  kirchj33 and I tested multiple fire decks against multiple versions of our decks and he consistently mopped the floor with me.  (Only part of it was because he's such a great player.  ;) )  I'd love to bring back 6 fire cards for our vault, but I'm not sure what's the best way to make that happen.

I had no chance against Discord immo deck.  Discords always arrived a turn earlier than I could play sanctuary, and then it was 4-5 turns of bashing with his phoenix before I could play another card.   Immo decks made discorders useless and his bolt decks deflag discord as soon as it was played.  I could beat most fractix decks with bonewall/plague combo, but if he used a firebolt deck, there was little I could do since the poison could not keep pace.  Blessed otyughs (with upped otyughs, no grav shield and +solar shields) could beat fractix sometimes but decks with CC or discord make winning very difficult.  I even tried grabbow/blessing deck but his immo deck was faster.
Death poison stall: 3 upped (bonewalls)

Will need to sacrifice 1 card.  Calculated difference between 3 unupped immolations vs. 3 upped creamations is .5 TTW which is enough to guarantee victory and justify the change imo.

Tested vs. 4 strong water decks (3 from last war + mindgate deck) and went 19-1.  Granted, this was vs. AI, but positive nonetheless.

If zblader went 19-1 with the death deck, could we let him have it?  I think 1 nearly guaranteed win is more valuable than two shaky matchups.

Here is what I am thinking:

Code: [Select]
5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lh 5lh 5ll 5ll 5lm 5lm 5lm 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5ol 5ol 5ol 5oo 5oo 5oo 7k2 7k5 7k5
It can hold up against Earthquake alright (the nave!), deals with a galboid rush easily, any other rush so/so, anti-matter doesn't hurt too bad....  Those are the pieces that scare me from entropy.  If they try to stall us, they have balls.  The deck is large enough to win deck-outs from rushes or most other decks.... we'll see.

I tried to take cards not already called for, or tested with.  If this does not work vault-wise, I have other ideas which can work too.

Suggestions, comments?

I am 100% okay with giving him the death deck as this is a team event-- we sink or swim as a team.  I am just struggling with an appropriate deck for myself.

The deck I told Z to test against was a domin (strong against rushes, weak against stalls).
I think fireastall would work just as well because it is also a stall.

My thoughts on hrmmm's deck -
I don't think the reflective shields will be worth it.
If life runs a firestall, they can deck us out anyways.
I would add a dragon and pillar.

I'll be testing 20 matches in the trainer with the following Deck -

I will play against:
First group of 5 matches - GoTP/RT/Nightmare Unupped
Second group of 5 matches - GoTP/RT/Nightmare, 3 GoTP's upgraded.
Third group of 5 matches - GoTP/Precog/Nightmare unupped.
Fourth group of 5 matches - GoTP/Precog/Nightmare, 3 GoTP's upgraded.
For safety's sake I'm also going to try 5 rounds against a momentum Dune scorpion deck after that - it's a rather cheap combo and can be played off the mark.

i didnt take reflectiv for reflecting stuff (well if it does its nice aswell).
its for preventing getting a shield destroyed vs a full field of cells.

also we have allready 5/6 solar shields used.
we can modify some decks to made the afla-stall possible, or i will take another one.
