Round Six Summary
Event card:
No Small Thing:
All decks must have at least
35 cards this round if possible.
*If you vault is less than 35 you will simply use all the cards you have left.
*You may not try and overuse cards in one deck to make another deck below 35.
I haven't tested at all. It would be nice if someone could test these. Working on as many as I can get to, any preferences?
Gen. coinich vs gavsword (Fire)
* Vader Saders
* It's a risk we have to take. We can't keep our Last Stand hidden because of the event card. We can give the 4 discords to someone else, and save them incase that deck loses.
* 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5ld 5ld 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ur 5ur 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7tb 7tb 8pt
* Testing vs. Fire (Rd 5) - ImmoPhoton (2-1), PoisonBolt (3-0), ImmoSpark (2-0), Bonebolt (1-0) FIRESTALL?
* I'll try building a firestall code to fight against. Its more likely anyways as immo decks are hurt by the rule. Also, they can save their Steam Machines
* If it's 3-0 against poison bolt it should do well against firestall, which has about as much CC. I'm not sure there is much we can test, as I don't see another option for coin here.
* Firestall and variants don't appear to be too deadly
Lt. ak65ala vs Jappert (Water)
* 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 5l8 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5ld 5ld 5li 5li 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 8pj
* Cord Bombs
* 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5ld 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 8pj We only have 5 light dragons in our vault, so I switched one to a miracle. I also upped 3 cards (2 discords, 1 miracle). The deck below is basically the same thing, but it fits our vault restraints...I think we should still have 1 purple dragon if you would rather use that.... I could rebalance quanta and add if you want.
* 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5ld 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 6u5 6u5 7k2 8pj
* Testing vs. Water (Rd 4) - Grabbow (2-0), Shocking Toadies (2-0), Nymph's Tears (2-0), Poison (2-0), Toadbolts (1-1), Grabbow 2 (2-0), Immophoenix (1-1), Poison 2 (1-1)
* Testing vs. Water (Rd 5) - PUDragons (3-0), SquidMachine (0-3), ShockwaveWings (1-0), MonoWater (1-0)
* Squids == loss IMO - hopefully won't see these as they go for damage to beat stalls
* ShockwaveWings is likely lose by deckout each time with smart playing, watch boltwin
* Antimatter Dragons if at all possible
Zblader vs Lt. kevkev60614 (Death)
* Miracle/SS: Heavy Titanium
* Titanium shield blocks arsenic and hurts mummies a lot. kevkev (Lt) uses upped cards, so upped arsenic is NOT blocked. <This. Shields that let arse through are a no-go this fight. Ah, smart thought. Better to have then not though
* 58s 58s 58s 58s 594 594 594 594 594 594 5li 5li 5li 5li 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 8pm
* Testing vs. Death (Rd 5) - Earthstall (0-All, cannot win), Deflag (2-0), RTMummy (2-0), LBolt (2-0),
* results vs AI, not people, beware bombing strategies
* if they bring the stall deck, we autolose with this matchup
* I don't think death is going to run big decks, because then they would expose basically all of their vault (the event card REALLY hurts them).
* Just a deck idea that I can't exactly build right now, but what about something that runs Rage Pots and Deflags? Rage Pots kill most Death creatures (w/no buff) and Deflag takes care of Arse. Bonewall would be our only concern.
* 5f5 5f5 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f7 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5lb 5lb 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 8po
* needs more testing, but I don't think it will work too well; Death's creatures come faster than CC can hold up
* If we splash fire, we won't have heavy damage, and we lost our firestall.
(Aether)EvaRia vs kirchj33 (Kirch haz rematch again)lets win this one, ok? ^^ they can't honestly expect us to suicide again
* Miracle/SS: Chainquakes
* Aether uses high-cost cards a lot. EQ can really slow them down.
* 58s 58s 593 593 593 593 594 594 594 594 594 594 5li 5li 5li 5li 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 8pm
* Make sure not to go below 30 health at any time; Eva may attempt a bolt kill - yep gotcha - hard to emulate this common tactic in trainer
* Testing vs. Aether (Rd 5) - Nova Poisonbow (5-0), Mummy Rush (2-0), Devtals (2-0), PUgons/Wings (2-0), Fractix (2-0), PU/grabbow (1-0), Dims & Titans (2-0)
hrmmm vs promwarm (Life)
* Expanded Grabbow
* 4vh 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 55q 590 590 590 590 590 595 5c1 5f6 5f6 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lb 5lb 5lb 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lh 5lh 5mq 5mq 61q 8pm
* This is a good start; thanks for making it. I might be able to make some small improvements. I'll post a code when I'm done.
* 4vh 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 55t 55t 590 590 590 590 5c1 5f6 5f6 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lb 5lb 5lb 5lb 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lh 5lh 61q 8pm
* GP is better than Momentum, since life only used 9 shields in 8 games last round, and most of the shields weren't very powerful. that skullshield can be beast^^ .. they could be able to run a wings deck aswell due their salvage... maybe not vs us. Since we stalled against life last game, wings would not be likely; at least large amounts of them wouldn't. And we can use 2 deflags, which are multi-use.
* other thoughts... if they take a hardcore adreanaline heal rush, they might outrun us here... but life doesnt showed much adrenaline in their decks...we can target adrenalined creatures with GP and lightning, and the graboid rush is our fastest deck (I tested it with immo and blessed pegs before round 1) sure... im just thinking of adding more cc into this.. 2 GP then? and a lightning I wouldn't worry about anything other than adrenastaves, and thats a tough build with this event card. they might not even have the FW for it, though I haven't checked - they fw's (most likely, cause of salvage this round)
* At first glance, the light QI is too low; it has too many pillars. But I'll have to test this.qi/quanta boost was fine in my testing... only problem was the lack of novas sometimes
* I've looked at our match results and our vault. We can include a maximum of
* So basically we can run whatever we want because we beat 2 rainbows and had some extra cards in our vault. Our biggest problem is 50% light.in any deck we build... yup
* 6 novas
* 3 GP
* 4 blessings
* 4 pegs
* 3 deflag
* 6 graboids
* 1 forest spirit
* 1 lightning
* 1 chaos seed didn't we chuck this in the suicide, or is it one of the ones we're saving?we did we can save it though
* 1 Lycanthrope? yes, I forgot that one, but we can use it
* 3-2 vs. discord, 2-0 vs. firestall, 4-1 posion, next to test against: froctal, grabbow
* bigger size is hurting the nova rate a bit... the 2 quanta cards can block the hand
* Defensive Grabbow
* 4vh 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 55t 590 590 590 590 5c1 5f6 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lh 5lh 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5og 5og 61q 8pm
* The biggest problem with 35-card grabbow is that by the time it has drawn it's second nova, it may have already been destined to lose. The whole idea is to survive long enough to start getting the cards you need - thus there are 6 sancs and 2 fog shields.
* 1-3 vs firestall, 3-0 against discords, 4-0 vs poison, 2-1 vs frogtal, 2-1 vs chargers, 3-0 vs shockwave, 2-1 vs rainbow.
* Some of these wins are because of AI stupidity, but that stats are still promising.
* Life had 4 decks that won last round - 3 that weren't used by generals or lietenants. This rainbow destroys 2 of those decks, and has a shot against the third.
Good news : No generals. Relief.
Bad news: I have to fight a lieutenant? D: (just kidding around, of course)

* To run some of our decks, we have to convert 2 pillars into pendulums.
Decks found in Last Stand. In just 46 cards the Last Stand contains 4 decks!
* Vader Saders - The standard deck. The next three decks are centered around taking out the decks that counter this (thankfully there are few).
* 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5ld 5ld 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 7n2 7n2 7n2 7tb 7tb 7tb 8pt

* 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5ld 5ld 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5up 5up 7n2 7n2 7n2 7tb 7tb 7tb 8pt
* Disco Saders - For elements with high-cost cards, such as dragons. It's our best answer to antimatter, and eternity, which counter Vader Saders. Also works against stall.
* 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5ld 5ld 5lf 5lf 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 5ll 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 6u5 6u5 6u5 6u5 7n2 7n2 8pj

STRATEGY
Entropy
* Strong Cards to Counter: Pandemonium, Discord, Nova, Butterfly Effect, AM
* Expected Decks: Anything with discord, Scrambled shriekers, Mono Entropy and Darkness Duo
* Strategy?: Protect against scramble w/ Sanct, BE w/ PA, Pande w/ high hp creatures Antimatter makes dragons/Saders problematic
* Possible decks to counter with:Max HP (with sanc and PA for the pillars), Immo Rush, Flying Glories, Desert Crusaders to a lesser degree, Anticord
* Death
* Strong Cards to Counter: Bonewall, Poison Cards, Plague
* Expected Decks: mummy rush, speed poison Bonewalls and CC to fuel them their spark immo deck is absolutely brutal
* Strategy?: Protect against plague w/ archangels, Poison w/ purify, Bonewall spam creatures/momentum
* Possible decks to counter with: Firestall (with deflag), Waterstall (with purify)
* Gravity
* Strong Cards to Counter: Otyughs, Momentum, Pulverizer (not that much in last war), Acceleration, Charger, BH
* Expected Decks: Discord BH, Acceleration Voodoos, Random duos with charger and otyugh
* Strategy?: Plan to rush as gravity plays slow and then picks up speed? Protect perms with PA? Play PotS. Once you've scouted enough, counterdeck.
* Possible decks to counter with: PotS (I haven't found anything else that beats Discord BH, Otyughs, Momentum, and Acceleration)
* Earth
* Strong Cards to Counter: EQ, BB, Wardens, Graboids, Stone Skin
* Expected Decks: Stalls, Scrambled Shriekers, Darkness denial, RT graboids, Immo, Voodoo
* Strategy?: Rush hard. 42 card deckout.
* Possible decks to counter with: Graboid Pegasus Rushbow (I think earth will play denials against us), 42 card deckout (their largest decks are 40 cards)
* Life
* Strong Cards to Counter: Mitosis, Adrenaline, Healing
* Expected Decks: Adrenaline (staves, graboidbow), FFQ, 40-card semi-stalls, Fractal frogs, adrenavamps
* Strategy?: Stall for deckout and lobotomize? Skull shield and fire shield are good for pseudo mass CC. Graboids too, to take advantage of life's lack of instant CC.
* Possible decks to counter with: Poison Sanc Stall, Firestall, Pegasus Graboid Rushbow, Peggy/Wings, Blessed otyughs/miracle
* Fire
* Strong Cards to Counter: Immolation, Phoenix, Fahrenheit, Bolt, Lava Golems, Buckler
* Expected Decks:fire stall, immo rush, graboid rainbow
* Strategy?: Fire is tricky because they can use both rush and stall. Scouting is key.
* Possible decks to counter with: Graboid Pegasus Rushbow, Desert Crusaders, Oty Lock w/ momentum?, Firestall with 2 reflective shields
* Water
* Strong Cards to Counter: Toadfish, Steam Machine, Chrysaora, Arctic Squid, Ice Shield/Freezing Cards, Inundation (when paired with antimatter)
* Expected Decks: steam machine/phoenix/explosion, Squid + Toad + Owl's, Poison Rush, Waterstall with bolts
* Strategy?: Water's strength is in CC. They have squids, toadfish, and can use owl's eyes. Additionally, they have steam machines to break through stalls.
* Possible decks to counter with: Fire stall, Water duo from War 2? dune scorp/rewind, Peggy/Wings, Discorders
* Air
* Strong Cards to Counter: Shields (Wings/Fog/Hope), OE, FFQ, Flying Weapon
* Expected Decks: This one's a bit tricky, as air can indirectly duo with many elements. Note that most of their decks have decent amounts of CC, healing, or shielding. Flying titans?
* Strategy?: Prediction will be key as countering rush with CC & stopping FFQ stall will vary greatly in counter strategy
* Possible decks to counter with: Deckout, poison stall, winged creatures.
* Time
* Strong Cards to Counter: Rewind, Eternity, GoTP/Nightmare, Dune Scorpions
* Expected Decks:dune scorps, graboids, GotP nightmare, random duos that use RT and dragons
* Strategy?: Sanctuary stall. It beats nigthmare and the CC they often use. Don't use deckout unless you have a lot of PC for the eternitus (plural of eternity).
* Possible decks to counter with: Poison Sanc Stall, Firestall
* Darkness
* Strong Cards to Counter: Steal, Vamp Cards, Devourers
* Expected Decks: Devourers, Graboid Rainbow, Steals in almost every deck (especially against light)
* Strategy?: Rush with PC, Wardens
* Possible decks to counter with: Graboid Pegasus Rush, Immo Rush, Blessed Wardens (hrmmms modification), Fire Stall Weak to steals
* Aether
* Strong Cards to Counter: Phase Shield, PU, Lobotomizer, Mindgate, Fractal
* Expected Decks: Fractal devourers or frogs, dimensional shield stall, PU anything, mindgate stall
* Strategy?: I would fully expect mindgate if they expect any sort of stall Denial and PC. Deckout stall. Rush with PC.
* Possible decks to counter with: Discorders, Immo Rush, Max HP (beware of mindgate...although nothing to power earth with...still could lead to deckout for us not if we have more cards. 36 cards is good. Aether never had anything >35 last war)They will have a different deckbuilder this war.
* Underworld
* Strong Cards to Counter: All cards from the above elements. Underworld doesn't have the elemental limitation any of us do, so until we see their decks in action we can't really tell.
* Expected Decks: Possbily rainbows?
* Strategy?: Don't use discord. Also, UW reveals there whole vault after they play just one round (which is round 5). So we can then see all of the cards they have left except for salvages. We'll have an easier time countering them after Round 5; just keep our vault adaptable.
* Possible decks to counter with: Blessed Otyughs with 2 BHs. Poison of the Sun (RT > Nova and SNova)
