I honestly think this shard is still fairly okay for Monolight - in most cases, you'll have Sanctuary and Miracle to back up your increasing Max HP total.
In a splash, though, Heal seems more practical unless you're stalling with Sanctuary or SoG.
It's interesting to note that both Light and Life have similar regen and heal cards now, with slight different focuses:
Light : SoD + Sanctuary - Heals up Max HP, protects against certain disruptive costs at the cost of slightly less efficient heal.
Life : Heal + SoG - More efficient healing, but no protective effects.
