Oh yeah, about the card... I don't see why all the fuss? It's perfectly balanced to me. If you want less cost, less Healing (and timer), go play Rock-Paper-Scissors. Here, deckbuilding and play thought should actually be important, maximizing draw chances and ability to play the card asap, that kind of things.
Care to expand upon this? :)

Yeah.. uh.. Nova and a lower cost of Discord mathematically makes Discord come out sooner than Sanctuary. That's how it's gonna be for a majority of games played in such a matchup. You can build your deck however you want, it's not going to affect that. x)

However, once you do get Sanc out, it at least stops the scrambling for the rest of those turns, -and- provides good healing. It's not weak, it's just that it's less of a direct counter, which is good in its own way.

As is, sanctuary is much better in a :light miracle stall than randomly tucked in just any deck aas a discord counter.  This is OK though.  In the :light versus :entropy matchup, :light now has the general upper hand which is a net improvement for overall game balance IMO.

Cards being perfect counters and nothing else is bad. This card is a good example of a soft counter, useful in most kind of decks.

I'm pretty alarmed by the fact of Sanctuary having timer. It will definetly kill the card. I mean, it'd be like a slow heal and underused due to be an uneffective counter to discord. I personally prefer upping the cost in this case.

since the point of the card is protect quanta from :darkness and :entropy, healing should be decreased, but it should also gain protection from steal and BE

Hecks no. Devourer is one of the most basic Darkness deck card. This card makes them absolutely worthless. Even if it wasn't Immaterial, the fact that you can have 6 means that Steal won't do anything, and with such massive amounts of healing, any damage from an Eclipse bonus is all but negated.

I'm still waiting to see how Darkness can even conceivably counter this. Dragon rush is the only possibility I can see, atm.

pests will still generate quanta for you, and I did mention reducing healing
and will you stop worrying about mono-darkness being powerless to mono light?
what about mono earth vs mono life?
with earth's 3 damage block shield and granite skin's massive healing, life is essentially powerless, dragon rush is the only way for life to win
what's the difference?
