But I guess it could be useful for... wait, 1 ANY? Instant Light splash! Life mark, Rustlers, piles of Cocks-at-rice and Frogs and you have a very fast deck and it can Miracle as well!

Just for continuity's sake, if Bioluminescence is the official ability name for any creature that produces Light quanta, the ability name for Elite Fireflies needs to change from Bioluminescence to something else. Otherwise it is pretty confusing. How about Incandescence for Elite Fireflies?

Why is that? Bioluminescence is the name for the Fireflies who produce fire quantum. So I guess you could use the new card to let your skeleton army produce firequantum to hit the enemy with your Fahrenheit...

Both regular Fireflies and Elite Fireflies have the Bioluminescence ability, but they do different things. Fireflies produce Light quanta with their Bioluminescence, while Elite Fireflies produce Fire quanta with their Bioluminescence.

I agree with jmizzle7; the Elite Fireflies need a new name for their ability in order to avoid confusion.

Hmm ... While having to have 1 Any ready to play it, the upgraded version doesnt even need quanta to play.
Any phantasy about "skeleton-hordes of light" could easily become true.
I guess this card is more useful to any colour deck than to an actual light deck.

As I said, it is an instant Light splash into whatever other deck you may want to be exploiting. You can fire some Deja Vus, when they're unabilified do Luciferin, and you have instant Light for Sundials or Miracle. Or Blessings for more Deja Vus.

I just tested a stupidly simple deck in the Trainer:

Mark of Life
8x Emerald Tower
6x Giant Frog
6x Elite Cockatrice
4x Lucifrase
4x Golden Dragon
2x Improved Miracle  (Yeah, I actually took the time to farm 2 miracles on the trainer.  I have no life.)

It farms Halfbloods about 66%, and it would easily jump up to 90% if I could add 2 Miracles and take out 2 Golden Dragons. 

I also tried it with Epinephrine instead of Golden Dragons and Horned Toads instead of Giant Toads, and it worked just as well.

Damn, you farmed 2 Miracles in trainer. How long that takes, 4 hours?

If you put one Heal/Bond in, would it get Masteries?

No on the masteries, at least not with only 2 Miracles.  I need them both to outlast the halfbloods; I usually win with 20 HP or so left. If I had 4 Miracles, yeah, I think it could get Masteries pretty easily with Bond or SoG.

Is this a one-time spell that gives Light to all your current creatures?

Also, maybe we should just call the ability Light, since it shows under the creature graphic in the game. Elite Fireflies have the "Fire" ability.
