Well, after a series of events which led to me battling a number of other masters in an epic, bloody showdown to the death I have emerged victorious with the 5 of you as my teammates for this War. Actually, I'm really quite amazed that I didn't need to bid on anyone besides you 5 as I was expecting everyone to outbid me left and right. Anyways, my antics during the auction phase have put us at an advantage over most teams since a lot of masters went crazy with the troll bids and 14 card bids this time. And I'll also add that I think this is the best team regardless of its price.
Now, I see that we have a few new faces here this time so I'll go ahead and do a bit of an introduction segment as a little icebreaker:
Hello, I'm willng3. If you'd like you may also call me Will or willu, just please do not call me willing :
D. This will be the 5th War I'm participating in with it being the 3rd as a general and the 4th as a member of Team Life. I'm currently a college student whose spring semester will start tomorrow, but I don't anticipate that causing too many complications for us as long as we stay motivated! Expect my internet connection to be more limited every other weekend; I'll probably be online on the forums for the majority of the time, but I'll have trouble connecting to our team chat.
I'm generally a nice person unless I see someone being disrespectful to people who haven't deserved that kind of treatment. My attitude's basically a mirror that reflects the attitude of the person I'm speaking to. This shouldn't mean much for any of you as I don't believe I've ever seen any of you treat others with disrespect as I've stalked the forums. Campus blocks my access to the main chat during weekdays, but I'll have to see if it's the same with our team chat. It shouldn't be, though. My girlfriend is a huge grammar/spelling Nazi which has rubbed off on me quite a bit over the years; if you've not a native speaker of English then please let me know if you're having trouble understanding me so that I can tone it down a bit.
My main objective for this War is to compete while having fun, first and foremost. Winning of course is a lot of fun in itself, but getting upset just because we're not winning is silly and can be avoided if we're willing to try. Motivation stays at its highest when we're all willing to get back up after we've gotten knocked down. I still want you all to try your hardest to win, but don't be so hard on yourself if you lose; it happens to everyone

Now, as always I'd like to ask for your help in making War as drama-free as possible. Raging at other people and whining about rules that appear to be unfair is a contagious attitude which will make the rest of the team unhappy as a result. There are constructive ways to deal with all War-related issues. But even with me saying that there will be players from other teams which will attempt to suck you into their self-afflicted unhappiness. My best advice to you is to just ignore these players as several of them won't be willing to listen to reason. If their attitude causes them to start harassing you then you can inform me and I'll deal with it personally. I have no issues ignoring people who whine about a match with us being decided by RNG, but accusing any of you of cheating because of desyncs, for example, is something I will not keep silent about. Be wary of majofa and Team Water especially; my experiences with him tell me to expect him to attempt to bend rules in his attempts to win War at all costs.
Now, we have a bit of a to-do list to focus on before the first round begins:
1) Member roles. I see that so far only Bell has listed his role preferences and the rest of you are undecided. If that's still the same, then how about the rest of you list the 2-3 roles that you absolutely do not want to be. There's a section for this in our
team chat. Bookmark this if you can ASAP. It's password protected (password is frogofwar), so don't worry so much if you accidentally post the link in main chat. After you've done that I can try to divide the roles up to meet everyone's needs.
2) Vault building. There's no propaganda to worry about this time, so pretty much everything done before round 1 will be about the Vaullt. I'll start a thread for this soon, so not much needs to be said about this here.
3) Become familiar with the War rules. The less that we have to keep flipping back and forth between the rules thread and whatever we're discussing, the easier it'll be to take care of whatever needs to be discussed. This is something I really need to work on as well.
4) Vault manager. We also need to appoint someone from our team as the person who updates the vault before the start of each new round. Now, I'll say right now that expecting me to update the vault correctly is like handing a serial killer a machine gun in a heavily populated city and expecting no one to get killed. You'll need to be fairly familiar with GDocs.
And as a final note: I'm also Master of Walls of Text. Brace yourself for some heavy reading
