The Vault sheet shows what cards are in your vault, as well as what cards are in use in your decks. This includes any changes made as a result of salvage, discard, or conversions on the Preparation sheet.
During the Vault building phase, you may edit the highlighted cells (in the columns labeled "Total") to indicate which cards will be in your initial vault. After this phase, you must not directly edit the Vault sheet.
The Preparation sheet is where you list your Salvage, Discards, Conversions, and decks for each round. Do not edit any cells which do not have a white background.
In the "Losses" and "Wins" cells, you should fill in the number of games you lost and won in the previous round.
In the "Discard From" and "Salvage From" columns, give the deck code of whichever deck from the previous round you are discarding or salvaging from. In the "Discard (code)" and "Salvage (code)" columns, fill in codes for the cards you are discarding or salvaging. If you choose to transmute cards, use the codes for the cards you are transmuting them into.
The (Penalties) row is for any penalties you may receive or extra discards that may happen as the result of an Event Card. The (Bonuses) row is similarly for any extra cards which may be added to your vault as the result of an Event Card.
For Conversions, provide the deck code for the cards you are converting, and the number (not a code!) of pillars and pendulums of your element you are converting them to.
In the Positions section, list which player corresponds to which position number. If you have fewer than 6 battles for a round, the players you listed in the highest numbered positions the previous round will not play. Players may change positions from round to round, except for the General.
In the Decks section, you should provide a deck code for each active player in the "Deck Code" column. Specify which player is intended to play each deck by using the dropdown menus in the "Position" column. There are intentionally several extra rows, so that you can try different combinations of decks before finalizing which ones you will use. Only the decks assigned to a player will be counted. Do not list the same player more than once.
If one (or more) of your decks is a suicide, you should indicate that in the "Suicide Deck?" column. You will receive an automatic loss for that match, but you will not receive a penalty for an illegal deck.
The "Deck Name" column is for your own use, and whether or not it is filled in will have no effect.
You may edit the Preparation sheet only during the Deckbuilding phase of each round. Once the Duel phase begins, a copy of the sheet will be saved, and editing the sheet will result in a penalty. When a Warmaster approves it, the sheet will be cleared. Once this happens, you are allowed to start using it for the next round.
The Deck Code Generator sheet is to assist you in making deck codes for the Preparation sheet. You may edit this sheet at any time, but only the cells with white backgrounds.
To use this sheet, use the drop-down menus in the "Card" column to select cards, and fill in the number of these cards in the "Quantity" column. If you want the deck code to include a mark (not mark card), select it in cell B1.
The code will appear in cell E1 and a link to a deck image will appear in cell G1.
Do not modify anything that is not in one of these three sheets.
Ok, I've gone back and taken another look at possible decks and deck types that could be most useful in my opinion, I tried to come up with at least 1 idea for each elemental duo, even though I know that we probably won't use each.
I think these are 10 decks that are key war staples in a life arsenal.
:aether :
- Frogtal!
- PUgons
- AdrenaPsions
:darkness :
- Devtosis
:air :
- AdrenaStaves
- WingsStall
:fire :
- firebolt Stall
- Phoenixs (maybe with adren or immos+heals)
:water :
- NT (either for use with spirits or frogs)
:rainbow :
- grabow
These are some more possible ideas, but were not key ones when I first thought of Life War Decks.
:entropy :
- Antimatter stall, probably with Ebonds
:light :
- Creatureless stall (utilizing thorns and sancs/miracles)
- Lucifren hope/ ebonds
- Rustler + mito dragons
:gravity :
- something with upped otys
- adrena chargers
:earth :
- SS Ebond Stall
- mito golems
:time :
- Ebond Pharaoh Stall
:death :
- Poison + Scorps
- Thorns + Death Catcher
In theory these all sound good, but I'm not 100% sure how practical they would all be. So for now I'm just spitballing and brainstorming ideas. ;D
I'm not sure if Gen. d2d already has a team chat made somewhere, but for now lets use this one: https://titanpad.com/Akv35GwtlJ , and if needed we can always copy the info back to his. It is not password protected, so please don't give out this link to anyone not on our team.
In response to the card amounts and suggestions ARTH made, I'm cool with going for those suggestions. I'll put some quick calculations in spoiler to give us a rough estimation:
15 pillar/pends x 6 players = 90 cards
13 non-pillar/pend life cards x 6 cards each = 78 cards
4 cards (heal/dragon/dr.Staff/Frog) x 6 cards (added to total 12 each) = 24 cards
90 + 78 + 24 = 198 total life cards in vault
383 - 198 = 185 remaining spots for off element cards
185 off element card spots / 11 off elements = ~16 cards per off element
So if we choose to use all 11 off elements we only have enough for 16 cards of each of the off elements( if we are to balance them evenly). I would suggest that we either only use 8 or 9 of the off elements to allow more cards in each (~20 - 23 in each), or that we reduce cards from some to allow for more in others (I'm thinking maybe less in :entropy or :death for more in :darkness or :aether).
Vault building rules:
- At least 50% of cards must be in your element.
- maximum of 24 per card from your element (restriction doesn't apply to Pillars or Pendulums)
- maximum of 9 per card from other elements
- You may not have Shards or Relics in your vault.
EDIT: Also as a reminder we only have about vault organizing should be done left to finish organizing our vault.
Due to the conversion rule, I think we do not need more than 10-12 Life pillars/pends per player after all; if we need to play a fat stall, we can always convert as many useless/dead cards as we want to pillars & pends (we can even do that before Round 1 starts!). However, that means we need to include more Life cards than just 6 of each and 12 of the Dragons, Heals, Staves and Frogs (we need at least 192 :life cards in our vault). Maybe extra copies of Adrenaline & Mitosis?
Conversion: Teams have the option to convert some of their cards. This means that they can replace any card in their Vault with a Pillar or a Pendulum of their element. Converting helps teams to avoid a situation where they would be otherwise forced to build "suicide" decks. Teams have unlimited conversions each round, including before round 1.
EDIT: I also consulted CUCN. We can even include ZERO life pillars/pends in our vault and create them by converting cards of our vault during our deckbuilding phase (we are going to know our opponents BEFORE the conversion phase of round 1)! So, maybe, just maybe, should we avoid including any life pillar/pend in our vault and buy time till our Round 1 deckbuilding phase? ;)
EDIT#2: Since we have less than a day left, I made a vault within the spoiler below. If no vault is made before the deadline, please use this as our official vault...

That looks like a good arrangement for our vault, the only things I would like to question is the life pillars/pends? as I see none, are we planning on converting them all during the round 1 deckbuilding phase?
Also I will be back on in about 6-7 hours (after a quick sleep) and can input this into the g-docs if it still needs to be done. I'll try my best to stay on from then until the deadline for finalizing vault, either on laptop or mobile.
