I've got it.
I know which decks we should take.
dragonhuman should take the entropy deck against earth to stop otyugh, and mutate around shields.
Anothebrother should take the adrenaline vampire deck against darkness, and hope troh plays nightfall.
Gl1tch should the fire mark deflags against time, in case they pull those phase shield shenanigans again. Other than that, a normal life rush should do fine.
gnikdoolb should take adrenaline cockatrice against gravity. Too big for otyugh, too small for the shield, and too fast for chargers.
The question is which decks Amesjay and Kurohami should take against light. From the decks I've seen, light's played a momentum dragon rush, a stoneskin miracle deckout deck, and a speed rainbow.
In order to stop the momentum dragon rush, a simple rush deck should win. Any kind of quanta denial would kick butt right about now. Unfortunately, the only quanta denial we have are discords, and they're going into the fight against earth. Flying staves might beat two of those three decks, but I've got a feeling they're going to take a stall deck, seeing our abysmal performance against shields.
For that reason, I'm thinking we take a huge risk (I mean, at this point? What have we got to lose?). 40 card flying staves stall deck. We didn't pack much creature control, but light didn't either. Their most damaging deck couldn't get past it, and their stall deck is too thin. So lets fight anti-deckout with anti-deckout.
The other anti-light deck, however, faces the same threat. Whatever deck we take has to be able to beat momentum, speed rainbow, and deckout decks. Looking at the updated vault I just posted, we don't have a whole lot of options. But we DO have six cards from the Anothebrother v. Valuk deck. If we were to grab two dive and four blessing, and use the FFQ deck, I think it might work. Outheal the dragon spam using emphatic bonds, hit the miracle spam with dive and fireflies (we'd still probably lose on that one), and shockwave and thunderstorm the hell out of that stupid golem rush.
We get to keep one card from dragonhuman's first round deck. My vote is miracle.
We get to salvage six cards from Valuk. I say two wyrms and four blessing.
As for our 12 card penalty, I'm thinking we should go with the cards in aether and water we no longer have the pillars for.
