Thoughts?
I would probably up the shields, but dunno if better as cost increases.

That looks like a really balanced deck to me - haven't tested it though.

Doesn't seem worth upgrading shields with teh increase in cost.... I like it the way you have it but some other options might be upgrading the purifies and the staff, or some of the ice bolts. I think the extra life quanta you will get from upped pendulums will be good though.

Earlier I thought a poison rush - what do you think? Poison is cheap so you won't get quanta locked. You could bring a nova version with fog shields and explosions?

Is using earthquakes against a general a good idea?  It seems people often upgrade pillars/pendulums, making EQ less effective.
Depends. Remember Light has expensive cards.
In an earth deck you should have EQ, but you could surprise the opponent with earth mark so they play pillars more carefully.
I would suggest something like this (remember, not tested):

593 593 593 593 594 594 594 594 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c4 5c4 5c9 5c9 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 8pm

Tested this deck out, and it feels really clunky.  Also, I feel like I'm always wanting more earthquakes.  Would +2 EQ +1 pendulum be a good idea?

haven't tested it Isei, but yes i think that is fine. In fact this deck should be at least 36 cards so we can do a deck out - maybe even 40...

Ok, I'll work with it a bit and figure out what I'd like to add.

Deck idea for me... thoughts?

I thought we could salvage some gravity pillars instead of phase shields maybe - we don't have to. It would give me more earthquake resistance though.

Here is another deck idea for me - it kills stalls super easily. It still has some problems with earthquakes - but it survives. Maybe i could trade upgraded creatures for upgraded pillars? I will test it that way. Anyhow its a good anti stall deck and a good rush deck.

Don't upgrade Scorpions, not worth it imo since its main selling point is poison, not attack power. Go for Adrenalines or Pillars / Pendulums.

The reason I upgraded the Pendulums in my deck is because, well, nothing else seemed upgrade-worthy. Water cards were all relatively cheap. Purify isn't there to heal, it's to prevent damage, so an extra point of healing seems mostly pointless. Opposite for the Staff; it's mainly for healing. Ice Bolts are cheap enough as is, Dragons would throw off quanta generation a ton, blah blah.

PlayerOa used this last round, but his success was partly mostly due to 3D having a fail deck.

I'm guessing I'll need more lightnings for a heavier CC. Also, this deck, again, can fail to the EQ countermeasure pulled in last round. What do you say?
EDIT: Isei and I are on team chat ATM.
EDIT2: the traditional mono adrenafrogs beats fire's builds on a regular basis. Maybe it's time to surprise them by taking the most predictable deck possible?

I'll try to get up early tomorrow and see what you guys say.
Yet another edit: can work with pendulums, of course, freeing space for you to use pillars.

With the quint deck free, kitty45/replacement can use it to beat team :air.
