Ok, after taking some time to think about last round's decks and this round's discard/salvage/spoils I had a few ideas.


Anything after round 8 we use just the spoils, so we should start thinking of possible decks now to start working to build skeletons for.
I was thinking to start maybe work towards a type of grabbow. or a possible  :life strong duo
  • 4(3) graboids, 1 earthquakes and 1(2) :life pend from d2d's match
  • 2 steals, 1 nightmare and then transmute 3 :life pends from marsu's match
  • 1 Arsenic, 1 flying weapon and :4 life pends from sky's match

For Salvage and Discard we need to think about how we are going to want to alter and modify our current set of possible decks. I think the best idea would be to discard mostly :life pends/pillars this round(about 15-18).
We can possibly discard and salvage 2steals, 1 vampire stilletto, and 1 flying weapon for a net change of zero on these cards saving a few :life pends/pillars.
I would suggest to discard:
  • 6 :life pends from my match
  • 5(4) :life pillars, 1 flying weapon, and maybe (1) adrenaline from rem's match
  • 6(5) :life pends, maybe 1 steal from zerxil's match

and for salvages:
  • 1 graboid, 2(3) EQ not sure what else from d2d's match
  • 3 steals, 1 vampire stiletto, 2(1) nymph tears and maybe (1) nightmare from marsu's match
  • 1 flying weapon, 1(2) arsenic, and 4(3) wings from sky's match

not sure about if we are needing any transmutations yet, but i try to think about it, just in case.
not 100% sure on all these, but these are just my better ideas for now of what could work. anything to get the ball rolling.

I also have some ideas for possible decks this round, but I will be posting those later as I have to head out for a bit right away.

1 arsenic, 5 :life pends

Discards:
6 pends
2 steal, 1 stilletto, 3 pends
Fw, adren, depending on what we salvage

Salvage:
1graboid, 4eq, 1rt
2nt, 2 steal, 1nm?, 1stilletto
3arse, 3spiders/wings or fw if previously discarded

Spoiling ideas will change a lot after round2, as we fight different elements. Grabbow is a good idea, but that is not enough. Need to find the strongest possible duos and stick to those, probably transmuting elements we won't use from beginning. As they can't be changed later.

Salvaging- do we put in something new or keep decks as they are?

ok, I finally have some time here. sorry for being slow, all my profs decideded to bombard the assignments all at once. anyways...

looking at our matches for this round I've had a few ideas, not much testing more just looks and ideas.

 :aether : they also face death,earth,time,light,gravity this round, so they probably won't be as worried about us for now. I'm thinking that they may come at us with either a version of RoL/Hope or something based on psions, as we haven't shown much heavy hitters and little momentum as well as showing little jade shield defense. my thinking for this is maybe the wizzlesnarf deck.

 :darkness : they also face water,entropy,time,earth,light this round, i feel time and earth are going to be biggar threats then us. We lost using an adrenaStaves to them last round so they will probably be expecting something different this round. They might try using their parasites on us to stop adrenaline, so I'm thinking we should try something with the dragons or the forest spirits here.

the spirits will grow to avoid the poison from a parasite for a bit, if needed the purifys could be used on the spirits to help.

 :entropy : they also face death,air,fire,darkness,water this round, probably us and darkness are their biggest threats so we'll need our game face here. I'm thinking they may bring some form of nova-bow with discords, so probably not mito-devs here. maybe salvage some wings to stop the discords and use adrenastaves, they haven't shown any AoE spells so maybe a frogtal.

I like where rem is thinking with these ideas.

I would go dark domin for aether and go wizzel for darkness.
