To my knowledge the 50% rule as well as the 9 off element rule only applies during Vault Building.  But I'll ask about that just to make sure since I'd also like to verify that the penalty is for the entire vault and not just the deck used.

i typed my second question wrong, what i really meant was: does the panality of ilegal deck apply to the deck only or for the entire vault?

Vs - 4 AW adrenastaves is too risky imo, i think we should forget about this deck and use something with rt as suggested before, my suggestion:

Vs - send the berseker, discard 2 cards (forest spirits), use a 5 AW adrenatitans and we can have an extra up

Vs - I have nothing against this deck but we need to consider one thing: if we reveal, there will be 1 missing deck in our vault, wich means that a observing enemy will know that either we dont have a frogtal and have a grabbow or the reverse, I advise hiding this deck for now for the sake of not begin totaly crushed by quanta denials

saboteur/strategist: light used a lot of cards in their decks on round 1, if we can manage to win here, we can use the vault knowledge to choose the best cards to disrupt them

Yeah, I understood your question   Still waiting on a response from WMs for all of them.

I'm having a very hard time deciding what to do for our matches against Gravity and Light.  I agree, nen, that even without the 2 Fahrenheit the AdrenaStaves deck is risky, but at this point I don't see what else we can do.  If we take that Life/Time duo then we cannot use any other Dragon-based decks against Light or else that deck becomes very risky to play instead (we'd have 4 Dragons remaining in the Vault).  In addition, I'd feel like using that deck would pose the same problems as MitoDragons with Chimera versus Light:  It'd reveal most of our Vault; I really don't think that anyone suspects we can't field AdrenaStaves. 

If I were in Gravity's shoes right now then I'd probably expect Frogtal from us.  I don't know how they'd counter this though.  An Earth/Gravity stall, maybe some form of Discord/BH, or an Aether based Catapult Titans seem like the most likely candidates.  RT Dragons can defeat the stall if it doesn't have Gravity Shield.  It might be able to defeat Discord/BH if I can draw enough Towers at the start of the duel.  I don't see it stopping the Aether CataTitans though.  Even if it doesn't use Dims and instead uses PUs, they'd probably be able to hold off on playing Titans until they can launch it with Catapult.

And then there's still the matter of what to do versus Light.  I really don't like the thought of using a PUgon with 4 Dragons because it seems like this would be the top deck on their list to prepare for this time, and 4 Dragons would make this even easier.  I can see them bringing an Aether duo with Sancs this time which could mean to expect RoL/Hope or just Dims with Sancs and something else so that we can't win with Silence breaking up Miracle/Dim Shield chains.

Actually we will not reveal our vault if we use the chimera deck, because it only uses 3 cards, chimera, mitosis and dragon, and as long as we dont play pu gons in the same round, those dragons can be assumed to be from pu gons

now to the adrenastaff deck against gravity:

we need to raise the chances of drawing a AW, we should consider slimming it down to 30 cards, -1 fahren, -1 staff and -1 adrenaline/carapace maybe?

the fahren is actually a pretty good pick here, it raises our chances to win against gpull

the bonus for discarding 2 cards for the berseker is 3 ups btw

Ah right, forgot the bonus for Berserker wasn't 1 to 1 after the first discard.  In that case we can either upgrade a Titan again or upgrade a Pend if we're seriously fearing EQ.

For Adrenastaff I think it's probably best to do -1 Staff, -2 Carapace and then mess around with the quanta distribution a bit.  I don't see the Carapace coming into play often with so much Momentum and Catapults going around.  Will mess around with this build a bit more as well.

Updated my previous post.  If decks appear good to go then we can move on to the rest of the salvages, discards, etc.

Alright confirmation from Jenk:  The 3 card penalty is for the entire Vault, not just n00b's deck.  The 50% rule and the out-of-element rules both only apply to Vault Building.

Yeah I actually gave this power to Bell and UTL when I thought that I might lose power for a few days because of bad weather, but I can ask the WMs to give you that access as well.

Okay, I've input pretty much everything we need for S/D/C/P for this round and n00b put in the decks last night.  This is not final, this is just to make sure that everything in the Vault checks out in case none of us can get to it before the deadline (I should be online starting half an hour before the deadline though).

There's still some time left for feedback on salvages and discards.  Right now I have us salvaging 6 RT, 1 Eternity, 3 Discord, 3 Abom, 3 Entropy Pends, 4 Dims and 3 PU.  I then have us discarding 11 Pends from the Fire duo, 7 Pends and 4 Pillars from AdrenaScorps, and 2 Steal, 4 Nightmare, 2 Stiletto, and 3 Pends from the Darkness duo.  I then discarded 1 Pulvy and 2 Forest Spirit for our penalty and converted 2 Graboids to Emerald Pillars to make our decks for this round usable.

I still need to update the roles thread, but that's about it.  I'd double, triple, and quadruple check everything to make sure nothing was done incorrectly so that we don't have to worry about penalties and stuff again though.

Yeah that was a typo, added 4 Aboms not 3.

Also forgot to mention discarding 2 Graboids for the Berserker ability, which I checked with Jenkar to make sure I did it right :D

EDIT:  Actually got the Graboids and Forest Spirits backwards, but it doesn't make a difference.
