edit should I take the steals out since they will probably have PA to protect it and replace with something?

like replace with two Drains?

edit again but he would probably not expect me to run a darkness or fire deck with life also

I was thinking to watch out for UG, Flying Weapons, and CC (via Owl's eye and shockwaves)... not sure exactly what deck to use here...maybe you guys could help me out...also, I was trying to think, if I were Air and playing Life, i'd expect creatures, healing, possibly adrenaline or some other rush...so what element would I duo my air with?


Also, dragonhuman and gnikoob (wrong spelling i think) both have  opponents (one is Azumi)

Alright, air.  They could go with one of four decks.

Freeze+shockwave.  Not likely, why would they take that against life?!
FFQ.  ...Maybe?  Probably should be worried about hope.
Eagles+gasses.  Possible.  Counter:  Jade staff and big creatures.
Dive.  If this is the case, we can just outrush.

My advice:  Big creatures that rush with jade shields.  Dragon rush deck with jade shields.    Will calculate exact cards soon.

I'm still worried they'll take FFQ.  If that's the case, good luck.

Beware earthquake!  Go pillarless if possible.  My advice: take an FFQ deck, and hope you can outspeed them.

Crap.  We don't know if they're going to take otyugh or gravity shield.  Knowing them, they'd probably guess otyugh against a life deck.  Take the  deck.  Grow all spectres to at least 3|3, 5|5 is best.  From that point on only grow one.  Take extra freeze to slow down otyugh.  Don't bother with shields in case of momentum rush.

I'll take fractal against time, and upgrade frogs.  That'll work.

In summary:

Gl1tch: Fractal frogs.
Ano: Dragons + Jades, simple life rush.
gnikdoolb: adrenaline+frogs, go pillarless.
Kuro: Aether shield+Dragons, simple life rush
Dragon: FFQ deck, go pillarless.

Quickly grind top50 and you should get 1 in no time.

Well, dragonhuman, if you want another hope, I would drop an adrenaline or emphatic bond.  Emphatic bonds healing and hopes shielding are almost the exact same thing, if you think about it, and you can only use adrenaline if you already have a frog, so having one more frog than adrenaline would be great.

Well, cocktrice are good because it takes more air to kill them than it takes life to make them.  As far as control goes, the only life control that exists is thorn carapace, which we don't want for fear of unstable gasses.  If you want permanent control in case of EEs, gasses, and shields, taking firemark and the deflags might work.

hmm... would you recommend deflags or no? i'm leaning towards no because hopefully i'll have a shield by the time he gets UG's, EE's can be flown out of deflag range pretty easily, and well, hopefully i can have good luck against the fog shield... if the fog shield's the problem it's 40% and i get 3 chances so i SHOULD win the series...i think...

I always wonder why Gl1tch says that the light/life duo is pillarless, it has light pillars, doesn't it? But I guess if you draw the luciferine, you are set to go. I'm worried that deck will not work well against earth, although being able to counter earthquakes is good but adrenalined frog is almost rendered helpless by the earth shield. I think take dragons would be better, since quanta most likely won't be a problem.

A fair point.

I say it's pillarless because the deck can survive off of it's mark.  It doesn't HAVE to draw any to win.  Replace the light pillars with entropy pillars and it'll still stand a (significantly smaller) chance.

Do you have a better deck for the match?  Those decks were just suggestions...

I hadn't thought of that, great idea!  That'll get hope high enough to stop shriekers from being too deadly.

But if we do that, won't the FFQ deck have the same shield problem?
