well even if our # and the vault are shrinking, i will keep fighting!
i wont accept that  :life falls first in this war!

to get this deckbuilding round started:

decks we still have:
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 52q 590 590 590 590 590 5c2 5c2 5c4 5c4 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5f6 5f6 5f6
Code: [Select]
5c2 5c2 5c6 5c6 5c7 5c7 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5lk 5lk 5lk 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5ol 5on 5on 5oo 5oo 5oo
we also can keep 52 cards from our loosing decks, and gained 12 from salvage.
vault total: 154 cards (30.8 cards/player avg.)

edit: you are right wizel

no that is not correct.
We have a vault of 154 because of the penalty.... Average 31 card per player....

Those 2 winning decks are definitely available for use and we should decide what team we want to use them against.

We are going to have to ccobble together 3 other decks...

Another deck will most likely be 5 x fire bolt, 1 x farenheit, 1 x rage potion, 1 x fire shield + 22 Life cards.

The problem now is cutting our losses.  Do we take the grab-bow vs. the underworld, or do we suicide vs. them.
Looking at the salvaging, I have no idea how in the sam hell we beat fire.  We fought firestall last round, twice (not to mention the lance stall that water took).  We know their deck, and I can already tell you exactly what it's going to be.  Light/fire with miracles, Rages, fireshield, and one mirror shield.  And unfortunately, because we tried and failed last round, we lost the only two decks that had a chance of beating it.  And now?  I honestly don't know how to beat it.

Maybe just try to rush with fractal frogs?  Do we have fractal left?  Emerald shield stalls until he draws mirror shield...

I'll take this:
Code: [Select]
5c2 5c6 5c7 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5lk 5lk 5lk 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5ol 5on 5on 5oo 5oo 5ooVersus death, but feel free to pick a different deck, seeing as my picks have lost every single round.  Honestly, it's probably a bad pick, so please help me find a good deck.  I picked it because death doesn't have much that can get past wings.  Unfortunately, their vault is one of the largest right now, I don't know what to take.  They have firestall, they have CC up the ass, they have grab-bow.... it might be better to have me suicide versus them and let Nadrin take a good deck.  It depends what we have left.

Gravity is hurting just as hard as we are.  Looking only at their winning decks, they have a fire eater deck with cremations, RoF, and phoenixes, a blessed otyugh deck with chargers, and a dim shield stall with chargers.  They actually had two fire-eater decks, but one of them lost, and they can salvage PC from that.  They also have a discord/blackhole deck to grab cards from, and a momentum dune scorpion deck, a wings deck, and a water/gravity deck (they'll probably abandon due to salvaging).

So here's what I'm thinking, and it's gutsy:

Every single one of gravity's decks is 31 cards or smaller.  The deck out deck was 31 cards.  GG is making the same mistake I did, thinking rules that apply to grinding apply to the war.  So I say (and it's risky) we through whatever CC we've got left into a 32 card rainbow.  We don't have a whole lot of CC is the problem... do we try to rebuild the firestall?

Time is also in a lot of trouble, but we can't deck them out.  Looking at their vault, they have a phase stall, a darkness duo,  a weird ass fire/time deck with rewinds and deflags, fractal scarabs, and a few graboids they might try and salvage.

I'm thinking the graboid-bow will work well against them.

That just leaves the underworld, and we don't have a fucking clue what they're going to hit us with.  Once the vault is up-to-date and we know exactly what cards we've got, then maybe we can pick a deck to fight them with... but until then...
I dunno.

For all you Tl;Dr people, my picks:
KDZ v. :fire:  Fractal frogs
Gl1tch v. :death:   FFQ deck with wings
willing3 v. :gravity: 32 card firestall
Hrmm v. :time:  Graboid-bow
Nadrin v.  :underworld: Whatever we have left.

(all fits in a small table o.O)

so far a i agree with gl1tch, but i keep thinking about.
im a bit concerned about our low amount of PC (deflags) and where to put them for the best result.
also i think we are the less feared opponent by team  :underworld.
this seems to be a chance for a nasty strike there.

yep -- but we now have more cards (pendulums!) to build our decks.

actually we have only 2 fractals in the vault. but we have 3 fractals in the penalty discarding this round. we could replace them.
if they take the discord/fireshield/pheonix deck again... well we need some tough luck then.
only counter to would be a steal deck or a dimensional deck.
but i dont know if fire is that uncreativ

i also see a good chance for the graboidbow vs.  :underworld.
as we have 17 novas in our vault (with 5 salvaging) we could take the graboids there instead.

the ffq vs. death seems a good choise for me. take 2 bonds (and maybe some heals) and i can also work as a deckout.

i know im asking about much ponys and skittles. just stop me if i overdo picking from the vault ;)

Here is the good news.

We have TONS of adrenaline left. We can use it in the graboid deck but also on our remaining frogs.

The other news is that we should definitely use a firebolt deck. Here is one idea I just made a tested a little. We could also do more of a heal stall with it or run a few adren frogs in it...
Code: [Select]

I'm liking the Fire stall idea a lot.  I can see UW throwing several Speedbows against their opponents, and Firestall (IMO) is one of the best counters to Speedbows that exists.

WAAAAAIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTT

I know how to beat firestall.

Last war when Earth was pummeling life into a pulp with otyugh, I made a deck specifically designed to be fast, but only have creatures that couldn't be controlled.

No, not dragons.  Fractal cockatrice.

They require two RoF and can deal >100 damage per turn.  And if it's fast enough, it can win.  Now I never actually made the deck, it needs a lot of testing.  It needs life pillars, cockatrice are expensive, and bonds might keep the deck alive.  And we need to think about the upgrades, upgrading pillars or pendulums might be smarter (unupped cockatrice still survive fire storm, although not as well when facing fire shield).  But... I think it will work...

Maybe.

unupped cockatrice = 4dmg x 23 = 92 dmg

but i like the idea and will run some test (of corse not in pvp, willing^^).
bonds are a great idea here (if we have enough, they also might be needed in the ffq deck).

i tested a few variations:
upped pillars/pendulums: not much improvment, since you need a high quanta flow anyways, +1or2 quanta from tower dont change much. didnt drawed them much also.

so:
Code: [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5c6 5c6 5c6 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 622 622 622 622 622 7ag 7ag 7ag 7ag 7ag 7agside note, discord/quanta denial would destroy that.
