Life has creature control now! Which makes this card good, even though it is the weakest card to come out of this most recent batch of updates.

Sorry, but I don't like this card.
Not because of its powers - it's a really cool card and it gives creature control to Life.
But because of the Poison.

I think Poison isn't typical Life Power - indeed I think it's opposite to life, and so this card remove some flavor to the game - the fact that each color has its own strengths and weaknesses (and powers).

But it's THORNY... thorny make stuff go ouch.... ouch mean i got hurted... hurted so bad i go emo and cut my wrist till i bleed and bleed and bleed.... then when me go to hospeetal, me die of POISON...

Sorry, I have no idea why i just posted the above thing, I don't feel too well. But I see your point and I agree with the poison thing, Life and Death should be kept separate.

Oh yes! Almost forgot immortality. I saw how people suggested de-immortality cards. But I think the current system shouldn't change: immortal creatures can't be affected by absolutely ANYTHING except shields. I thought of a mortality shield which de-immortals any immortal attacking creatures. And this fits all my beliefs and is also better than my mortality shield! Nice work, Zanz!

am i looking at the most expensive (quantum wise) shield in the game?
I mean, it does kill a creature a few turn faster than fire shield, but it will still take many turns for poison to buildup. and it cost double the quantum than fire shield (8 vs 4 upgrade vision)
personally, i think a 50% infection and a lower cost would be better ... :)

Its cost is fine, if it would be lower, then suddenly all rainbows would use it :)

Actually, Queens and Druids aren't really necessary in a FG rainbow. They help in the endgame, but that's about it. They are almost never crucial to victory. Since so many rainbows use quint, it would be easier to use lava golems. The damage growth is less compared to a Queen, but it's half the cost for the ability, and fire/earth aren't used that much anyway (RoF's, PA's, and Pulverizers). You could leave the Druids in since you can usually get a good enough mutant out pretty quickly, and they really don't use up much life. And a lot of rainbows don't use bonds anymore. Since FG rainbows are driven by stalling and card drawing, taking more defense couldn't hurt.
Fire Golems die first turn even if quinted against Fire bucklers. Lava Golems are very, very vulnerable, a ffq has 7 hp starting out. Mutants are always a big help and can help when you know your opponents have miracles (you can up a firefly to a golden dragon with 13 attack to kill them the turn before they miracle.

You forget that in time you can't out grow this shield. Poison just keeps on building :P
