Correct. To clear things up, a creature spawned from mitosis becomes the ordinary version of the creature with no buffs or status effects.
This will certainly make things interesting.  Does that mean that the daughter creature of a Lava Destroyer with Mitosis will have growth?  Or will it just be 7/1?

Ok, so I was tying out this card in the trainer. It's OP with the combo mitosis and shard of readiness. I think it will be nerfed. Sorry in advance if someone already brought this up. I did want to read the 30 something pages before this one. You should see what I mean. A dragon that normally takes 12 quanta to play can spawn a replica of its self every turn for free.

it's already been nerfed, and it's not OP, main reason being that it's slower than you think, most upped rushed kill you before you get your dragon...
