The key here is that 2xSupernova allows you to cast upped Mitosis, or 2x Life Tower pays for it on Turn 2.   That's what the vets were hoping for, at least. :)
I only hope it doesn't go unused. It was (when it was 4/3 :life) a good incentive to deckbuilding with a little problem with flying weapons. Well, I may be wrong.

The cost increase just makes me think about how much zanz really cares about the community opinion. From the poll at the other thread:

- cost increase (1 or 2): 32 / 104 (31%)
- no cost increase: 72 / 104 (69%)

Although dunno if the cost increase is a bad thing. Maybe its more balanced this way.

The problem is that you're balancing a card that was imbalanced in its effect, by upping the cost... You're UPing the former balanced combos just to balance the OP'd ones (I hope you understand my reasoning, for me this is pretty much as the Fractal nerf)

Not caring about polls is not a bad thing.

Polls also made Farmer Joe the 2nd best FG in the Outcasts theme. The thing is, the mob isn't always right.

Agreed.  Now Mitosis (upped, at least) shares the same cost as it's two closest counterparts (Mindgate and Hourglass); that seems like a good thing to me.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Mitosis is a good card to have on your side:)
It isn't a lobotomizer because spawned creatures have the ability of the spawning creature; but an otyugh can eat new creatures as they come out...

Scarab is one of the best option ,but pharaoh spams scarabs for the same cost and is more resilient(but a mitotic scarab is faster to play).

Then Lycanthrope, retrovirus, armagio, giant frog, brimstone eater, forest scorpion, puffer fish, ray of light, steel golem, wyrm, deja vu,devourer, blood sucker, gargoyle, phase recluse and every growing creature.

Gargoyle maybe works because petrify is one-time use and it leaves room for another ability. But the cost is pretty high.

Or you can just have a mono-life deck:
Life Mark
4x Jade Dragon
4x Mitosis
4x Shard of Readiness
4x Feral Bond
2x Jade Staff
6x Life Tower
6x Life Pendulum

Just because you want to.

FFQ is a great card to use with this, it speeds up the swarming quite a bit and doesn't require splashing an additional element.

The only other element I can think of that can increase the amount of monsters you have is aether, which has both twin universe and fractal.
(Disregarding Pharaoh, since that's just another swarm creator)
You're just as selfish as I am. You're just not as good at it yet.
