This thread became completely disorganized during the forum move.  To view the actual deck posted by Skillgannon, please view this link: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,656.msg6262.html#msg6262

Nice.  Giant Frog has one of the best and maybe even the best cost to damage ratio.  Scaled up to the cost of a Ruby Dragon and you'd have a 30/18 creature for 12 quantum!

Yay for more mono stuff. My friend actually did a very similar (unupgraded) mono-life that was almost as fast as my (unupgraded) mono-fire. The small stuff that goes under Gravity Shield is pretty useful.

Okay, if you look on each of the monos (except Fire and Darkness) you'll find a speed deck I've made.  They're fun to use, so try them in PvP sometime.  I've already made a Darkness deck and the link is here: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,70.msg391#msg391. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,70.msg391#msg391.)  I'm not doing a fire deck because it's basically already down pat.  I'm not going to bother when you can probably find a 100 different variants on this forum.

Okay, this deck is pretty easy to play.  It's simple and fast.  You can pop out your smaller guys fast and do fast damage for cheap.  Then later on you can pop out your dragons.  You don't have to really worry about Maxwell's Demon or Gravity Shields with this deck.  It's pretty simple.  Also, your little creatures get targeted before you get your dragons out.  It's not the best, but hey... it's life.

Disclaimer:  Everyone's going to have a slightly different win %.  Don't bother coming to me after 1 game and saying you have a win % of 0.  Skillgannon is not responsible for your bad playing.  If you don't know how to think a little before you click a mouse, then just leave.

I don't think this deck would be that good against any high level computer or player decks, but would be pretty decent for gaining 100pt scores off the lvl1+lvl2 cpu decks if you added in a few feral bond cards

That is incorrect.

You need ZERO healing/defensive cards against levels 1, 2 or 3. That's right, only attack cards. Why? Because you will kill the cpu before he kills you and taking healing only slows you down.

levels 1, 2 and 3 and all about speed.

I know it's not mono but splash a mark of fire in this deck for some expolsions and you'd have a solid beatdown deck.

Yes, but remember this is a mono-deck posting.  :life

Surprisingly, I have found in my experience this deck beats a mono-fire deck more often than not.

Drop the dragons, add adrenaline.

A friend of mine runs this deck, it's BRUTAL.

Also drop some more pillars and add the heal thing (three quantums, 20 life) and you have the fastest mastery deck I've ever seen.

This thread and all of Skillgannon's mono decks are from 1.14, before any of the alchemy cards came out. So yeah, it's outdated and adding Adrenaline is definitely preferred over the dragons.

I'm going to politely, calmly, and hopefully inoffensively point out that mastery gives you two times the electrum winning without mastery does.  So as long as adding the bonds doesn't half the speed of the deck, it's actually speeding the grinding up.  And perhaps it's only the difference between one or two electrum, but the deck is pillar heavy anyway, so there's no reason not to at least put one or two in.

True. However, the fact is that the deck is "pillar heavy" because it needs to dish out creatures quickly in order for optimal damage. A Feral Bond will slow down this damage, as well as forcing you to make timing and placement decisions in order to set up and use your Bond in the most efficient manner. This reduces the speed of the deck and the speed of grinding itself, which is what, as Scaredgirl said, is what grinding is all about.

There's also the matter of it getting Stolen, but that's so minor a point that I shouldn't even have mentioned it :P
