Taking the Lord style mass creature buffs(every X gets a +Y|+Y), making it scale, and then capping it for balance. Solid design as expected. Creature was the right choice.
Question: Do these bonuses stack? (I kinda assume they do)
Tests to consider:
Sages buffing Sages deck.
Multibuffing OTK.
Multibuffing Swarm. (6x Frogs, 6x Sages)
Thank you.
I'll try to set up goldfish decks later if I have time, but just a quick calculation for now:
Unupped:
Fractal w/Cockatrice, assuming 6 are generated and played: 9
+ 18
for 6 4 | 4 Sages - 24 net damage per turn
Fractal w/non-Stacking Sages, assuming 6 are generated and played: 9
+ 30
for 6 6 | 6 (funny coincidence) Sages - 36 net damage per turn
Fractal w/Stacking Sages, assuming 6 are generated and played: 9
+ 30
for 6 18 | 18 Sages - 108 damage per turn
Upped:
Fractal w/Cockatrice, assuming 6 are generated and played: 9
+ 18
for 6 5 | 5 Sages - 30 net damage per turn
Fractal w/non-Stacking Sages, assuming 6 are generated and played: 9
+ 30
for 6 8 | 8 Sages - 48 net damage per turn
Fractal w/Stacking Sages, assuming 6 are generated and played: 9
+ 30
for 6 24 | 24 Sages - 144 damage per turn
Combined with the fact Eclipse doesn't stack either and that I wanted Sages to remain vulnerable to some degree of CC, I think having Sages not stack is the much more balanced choice here; I'll update the card with appropriate text when I get the chance.
Currently Fractal Sages in this example is +12
for 12 more damage per turn | +12
for 18 more damage per turn. I think that is an appropriate gain over Cockatrice.
