As I said I think that quanta acceleration using dilgos would be really strong. I think that the best strategy would be just playing the dragons instead of using bolts.

Is the max HP left at base or set to 1? I mean, if its max HP left at base, one can heal the victim of Dehydration.

Well, based on how I worded it, I guess I should make it so the base HP also goes down. It's not like there are too many strategies that could really revolve around bringing it down to 1 HP and then healing it, and almost nobody packs a Holy Light or Guardian Angel.

Well, maybe pretty much no one uses Holy Light/Flash for creature healing nor Guardian Angels, but I don't think upped meta don't make little use of Archangel, probably Light's only midrange hitmen. If the damage from Dehydration can be healed, 6 :water off an Archangel is neither an ugly deal nor not manageable thanks to the Archangel's capability to heal anyone (this time, itself).

I have to disagree with you. Using this on an Archangel(7hp) would net only 3 :water|4 :water after the casting cost of the spell itself AND it costs a card(the spell). I do not consider 3 :water|4 :water quanta enough of a deal.

Oh, yeah. Forgot to figure the casting costs. Silly me. ^^;

But, still~ Elite Armagio + Archangels + Improved Dehydration equals ... a complicated combo with questionable reliability x_x

You don't need angels. Just cast the dilgos and let them take one attack for you before dying. You'll only need a bit of :water to get things running and use :gravity as your main quanta source. Use your quanta for :gravity creatures and :water dragons.

Le bump.

Updated the table with the synergy going with Gravity instead of Death.

Anyways, from what I can gather from the discussion about this card, I think it's on the brink of OP depending on how strong the synergy with Gravity would be in the actual game. Is that basically the general idea?

Yes but, it would be wise to playtest to see if the criticism is accurate or not.

There was a playtest by hand system we used a while back (1 match took ~30 mins). ZBlader probably knows more recent information. However there is no playtesting program.
