I don't get it. maybe in some odd malignant cell deck it might be handy, but bond decks are dead by sofo atm :P and this wouldn't be all that great with them. being able to use the abilities of a killed monster though is incredibly OP depending on the skill. what about any mitosis'd? or a mutated thing with a 0 cost mitosis 15|2 fire guy or something. or even arctic squids. come on that has to be OP, some immaterial arctic squid crap. also broken with soP which allows you to add attack to your 0 attack guys. in the case of a water stall for example.

so it's really UP for aether, and OP in water stalls. waste of a possibly helpful to aether, aether card, and buffs the already hated water stalls :P

you give too much credit to the undead :P
My default opinion of a new card is OP. Your job as a card creator will have to be to convince me otherwise.
Happy to help with questions regarding upped PvP

Clarification : When a creature is 'reborn' from Ataraxia, it starts with the original ability it had, rather than whatever ability it had when it died. This also means creatures the started with with no ability are reborn with no ability.

so it's really UP for aether
[Shard of Wisdom gives Aether some utility with this card in mono. An Ataraxia/Wings deck would also benefit from Immaterial Spiders. Apatheia/Aflatoxin would be a :death :aether lockdown deck the lots of CC to encourage field jamming. Alternatively, Apatheia/Antimatter/Pandemonium could be used as another method of field lockdown, with immaterial creatures not being affected by Pandemonium.]
, and OP in water stalls.
[The most ideal combo (Ataraxia + Aflatoxin + SoP) is a 3-card combo at minimum, and has to also account for things like the Malignant Cell dying or the player of the combo being outrushed since Aflatoxin is an expensive CC and field jamming takes time. Water CC could be used in place of Aflatoxin but damage CC is not Water's specialty. (Ice Bolt is the only mono-Water CC that actually deals damage. Other CC cards like Freeze and Puffer Fish either only freeze the target or require a second element.)

A Water stall using this would have to account for SoP not allowing creatures to attack, giving opponents a good amount of time to gain an HP lead unless even more control is introduced. I believe this is more a case of a solid deck strategy than an OP card, as Water Stalls could still run SoP by itself and still be viable (and probably faster to get the kill), IMHO.

Sidenote : Water stalls can run creatures that actually start with attack and don't necessarily focus on creatures dying. Including Apatheia/Ataraxia will not only bloat the deck but may also introduce a 2nd/3rd element into the deck, depending on the stall.]

Upgraded version seems very OP to me.  I'd at least have it affect both sides.

Got no problem with the un-upgraded version though.
