Interesting, I like it as a take on a repeatable CC source. The only think that concerns me is the in-mono synergy with Death having a repeatable CC in the same deck as Bonewall. Have you considered putting this in Darkness, where I think the Soul Consuming has just as much flavour?

Nice though, and pretty well balanced as an individual card imo :)

Great card, and also pretty balanced because creatures having less than 3/4 attack are uncommon in competitive formats. I see no problem for Death to have weak  such as Plague and Afla. Afla actually has some neat synergy with this, which might help enable death effect based decks to become somewhat competitive.

I agree that attack values LOWER than 3 / 4 normal/upped are uncommon but something like this with Chrys and SoP could prove VERY strong... very very strong, perhaps too strong.

The idea I have in mind would be a deck like:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4t9 4t9 52g 52g 52o 52o 52o 52r 52r 52r 542 542 542 542 542 542 542 542 542 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5ib 5ib 5ib 5j2 5j2 8pp

Where Relic is Armorson.

If you need to bump Armorson one time to get the ball rolling on consuming souls then you toss one of the deck's own tiny creatures out to sacrifice.  Once you gobble a couple souls the Armoson is able to consume almost any creature damage played by opponent because the stat tied to consuming (ATK) is the stat boosted by use of ability (Consume is +1|0).  This is somewhat like Otyugh except harder to handle as the game has much fewer PC (handle Armorson) options than CC (handle Oty).

It could also be that the card is fine as it is and I'm hallucinating OP scenarios that are not feasible.
:)

If banish simply kills the creature, I would perfer just using the term 'kill' instead of banish. Otherwise, this locks up namespace for a repetitive mechanic term.

If you intend banish to do something different and / or in addition to killing the creature, then I think its fine.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?

It was purely for theme, it's simply "kill" in practice. Text changed accordingly.

Kind of too bad actually. It would have been neat to have it do something like make the target immaterial and delayed as long as the weapon was in play... I can think of some interesting uses for something like that.

:)
Considering there are strong duos with Aether, not at all (hint: Aether's the best at generating more creatures).

What's worse are buff combos with flying Armorson. Three-card combo, yes, but as any experienced player of Bonebolt knows: you're not at all worried about going low on HP before taking any defensive action. The turns before that are spent attacking.
:aether  http://elementscommunity.org/forum/guilds/991-thunderbolts-ho!-991/ :aether
Aether is the prime Element present in all things, providing space, connection and balance for all Elements to exist.
Aether represents the sense of joy and union, and the ultimate potential of all things.
